Always a nice local bar to go to. Prices are reasonable, bar and patio clean, as well as the bathrooms. Huge patio. Make sure to stop in when Dawn is there. She makes the best Bloody Mary on the southwest side.

Came here on a Thursday night. The crowd was not bad for a weekday, really young like barely old enough to drink young. Despite this I had a great time. The bartenders were attentive and kept my drink filled. They don’t serve food but I ate before I came. Touch tunes jukebox with a good selection of songs playing. I would definitely come back to this place.

This bar has an amazing Bloody Mary. The bartender, Dawn, was very sweet and we really enjoyed our experience here!

Ehh not such a great place. We decided to sit outside on the patio, which was pretty nice. Its huge with some tables and bean bags. Never had someone come out to check on us. When we went inside to get some more beers, it was smoky, loud, & crowded. Me and my friend(were both 21 year old girls) ordered 2 budlights from a girl bartender. She then proceeded to take someone elses order before grabbing our beers. She took care of 2 people before us, mixing actual drinks. when she could have simply grabbed 2 beers and handed them to us. She told us she didnt forget about us, but continued to serve other people. pretty aggravating. The bartenders werent very friendly to us, probably because we werent regulars. Not a fun atmosphere at all. We almost saw a fight break out. Probably wouldn’t go back.

This bar has been around for years. Stopped in for the first time to see a friend’s band play. They’ve recently remodeled the place and it looks good. They also have several TV’s to your favorite sports team. Very friendly staff and decent drink prices. Age ranges from mid 20’s to 40’s. Everyone was pretty low key. I’d definitely come back to see another band.

Awesome beer garden and specials. Got to meet the owner and he’s awesome. Really had a great time and everyone we were with had fun. Great drink specials! Justin our bartender was fab — so much fun. If I lived closer I would be a regular!

I keep seeing reviews saying that there’s no food served at Brazen. Tuesdays= Free food at Brazen!!! The [super friendly] bartenders Tim and Dawn supply the entire bar w/food for FREE! And the food is good! =] [For example, they serve things like;; Meatball sandwiches, beef sandwiches, pizza, tomato bread… etc] It’s a really chill place, a nice bar to go to if you’re looking to actually have a conversation with the people you go with. Not over crowded and pints are $ 1.50 on Tuesdays as well. Definitely a place to consider! =]

A nice average bar in an average suburb. There is no food and the few people I saw the night I went were constantly filling up the juke box. Just a neighborhood bar that looks like it would serve food from driving past it. Noth. iing to special here. It is definately not a dive as they put some money in remodeling the place making it look like a nice boring suburban bar.

So my fiancée kept telling me what a dive this place was. I was secretly excited to go to a crazy dive bar. But it turns out that this place is actually a pretty decent bar. Although small, there is a decent amount of seating and quite a few flat screen HD-TV’s. When we went on Saturday night, there was a cover bland that was actually pretty good. Sure, there were some townies, but there were no sketchy characters and everyone was very friendly. We heard that this place is sometimes a biker bar, but it appears that on weekends the bikers stay away and the younger people come out. — Things to note: no food, only chips. — Cheap-ish drinks(not quite dive bar, but certainly better than the city. Think around $ 3.50 for an import bottle. — Not a great draft selection, but decent. The best choice was Smithwick’s, I believe. Of course, most people there were just drinking Miller Lite. — Although there were only a couple bartenders and the place was pretty crowded, they seemed to do a great job of managing the place. — There is a juke box, but it’s obviously turned off when there is a band. The juke box is really pricey though: $ 1 per song. So although I was disappointed that this wasn’t a trashy dive bar, I was happy that the prices were low and the service was fast. If you’re going to be drinking out in Crestwood, you could probably do a lot worse than The Brazen Head.
