We have been enjoying Aurelio’s Pizza since you sat on the window ledges in the storefront at the Homewood restaurant on Ridge Rd. while waiting for a table. We moved from Homewood to Crete and like the pizza at the Crete location even more than the original Homewood location. We have been ordering from this location since the early 90’s…absolutely our favorite pizza!
While we are most often «pick up» customers, our experiences dining in have been favorable as well. The owners, Luke and Paula, are such wonderfully generous people and huge assets to our community, 5 stars for Crete Aurelio’s!

Best pizza i ever had in Chicago. My friend told me about it in michigan for the last10 years. Finally tried it today. Great crust, super sauce. Exceeded expectations.

Good pie. Not quite to the standard of the Homewood store but hey that’s a high bar. For those reviewers who went to Aurelio’s and ordered chicken alfredo… wtf were you thinking? It’s a pizza joint. Seriously people. :)

Food was terrible. Had the Chicken Alfredo and the Alfredo was like water and they gave me a full piece of burnt chicken that tasted like rubber. Even the salad dressing was off. I will NEVER be coming back here.

Horrible! I ordered two pizzas on Super Sunday, got them home and they had black bumbles (burnt) all throughout the pizza. I called the manager, HE DID NOT CARE! Claims he was busy due to the game and he will talk to the kitchen staff. Like I care, what about the garbage I ordered for my party! Needless to say, I will not order another pizza from there again! The Aurelio’s in Beecher, IL. sold garbage because they didn’t care and went out of business! I have over 20 plus family members that live in the area and all of them are at my home witnessing and tasting this mess!!!
The don’t care about their customers and the staff is not friendly because they think they’re the only operation in town.

As with all Aurelio’s, the pizza is delicious. The atmosphere and comfort level is good, but the service is worse than any other Aurelio’s I’ve been to. Slow in serving anything, drinks, salads, pizza, whatever. Kind of dumb, too. They don’t realize the finer points of what is expected out of service. Not unfriendly, just not very good at their jobs. If you can get past that, though, it’s still some of the finest pizza in the south suburbs.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever enjoyed. I’ve lived in Chicago and I can still say with confidence that the Crete Aurelio’s put out some fine squares that Giordano and Lou Malnati couldn’t touch. I’ve been ordering delivery, so I can’t speak for the dine-in experience, but since I pass by almost every day, it’s only a matter of time…

Closest Aurelio’s to University Park, but they won’t deliver because they got robbed! The Aurelio’s in the Heights will deliver though. Pizza is not as good as some of the other Aurelio’s in the area, not enough cheese and hardly no sauce. Not acceptable for an overpriced pizza to begin with.

Of all the Aurelio’s location I have tried, this is my least favorite. The pizza is off, it’s difficult to describe, it’s just not Aurelio’s pizza, in my opinion.
There are other items on the menu that are decent, the wings being one of them, but, when you go to Aurelio’s it is for pizza.
The service is always very good, and friendly. I have not tried the buffet, but have heard that it is pretty good.
