Sharon’s Custom Designed Cakes

Sharon has made many amazingly beautiful cakes over the years. Ironically enough, I’m not the only one who knows «the secret». I’ve attended other events and tasted the cake and immediately knew it was Sharon’s. The secret is out! More and more of my friends know about Sharon and her wonderfully decorated, amazingly delicious cakes! She offers cupcake classes for the little ones and always has a smile on her face. If you haven’t had a cake made by Sharon, you are missing out!

Sharon is amazing. My fiancé and I went to her open house to decide on flavors and a cake style for our wedding. Cake flavors, fillings, and toppings were all amazing, and the experience was wonderful. She truly made me feel so comfortable and excited.

Sharon has made so many cakes and cupcakes for me for different celibrations and they were all great. The first was 20 years ago for our wedding and the latest was cupcakes for a birthday.
The mini cupcakes are perfect for parties, and happen to be my favorite.

Sharon is awesome! I was looking for someone to do my wedding cake, and found her on the internet. Prior to my wedding, she also made a cake for a friends baby shower, and it was DELISH, so I was confident trusting her to do the cake for my big day. it’s truly amazing what Sharon can do – I was told by more than one baker that the cake design I wanted HAD to be done with fondant (which I HATE). Oh no, says Sharon! The cake was absolutely beautiful, the frosting was so smooth it looked like fondant but tasted a million times better (I have no idea how she gets the frosting to look so perfect!) I was so busy at the wedding that I only got to take a couple of bites but it was fantastic, and all of my guests were raving about how good the cake was.
Sharon’s prices are super reasonable, especially after talking to a few bakeries in the city that were charging outrageous prices! Sharon delivered my cake from the suburbs to the city on time and it was perfect and way less than I would have spent at some big name bakery. Bonus: instead of having to wrap and freeze your top layer and eat it a year later, which Sharon says is always gross, she has you fill out a postcard with your address and wedding date, and before your anniversary she sends it to you to redeem for a FREE 1ST ANNIVERSARY CAKE! how awesome is that?
So, great prices, great selection of flavors, and great cakes! Sharon is a bit kooky (which I love) but totally knowledgeable and professional, and you can tell she loves what she does and loves making brides happy! She was hands-​on involved through the whole process, which was great. I will definitely be using Sharon for all my cake needs in the future, and I recommend her to anyone!

Sharon rules! Every time I’ve been at a party or even with a cake from her, it’s been scrumptious, and beautiful. I would drive two hours for one of her cakes, because they’re always so great.

I bow to Sharon and her cakes! I live in NWI and I don’t mind making the drive to pick up one of Sharon’s delicious cakes. I’ve been using Sharon since 2004. She has made my wedding cake and several cakes for events since then. It’s nice to have a cake that doesn’t taste like it was mass produced for 20 other people. Sharon’s cakes are literally homemade. No literally, she makes them at her home! Ordering a cake from Sharon’s is a nice experience. Now matter what type of design you want, once you give her your cake and filling flavors will make it happen! I will always get my cakes from Sharon’s!

I called Sharon 9 days before my wedding after finding her on Unilocal. From «Hello» she was absolutley fantastic! Don’t even bother calling anyone else. 5 days before my wedding, I came to her shop to finalize everything and it was amazing. She placed a tray of amazing fresh baked red velvet mini cupcakes in front of me and I was in heaven!!! She made us a two tier 6 in over 9 in round cake with chocolate and white with strawberry over bavarian cream with the Ashley Swirl ;-). and a sheet cake. SHARON! There was no cake left!!! We had to hide our top part LOL!!! Sharon has my business for ever!!! I’m looking forward to november when I can order my daughter’s birthday cake. Such genuine ladies who know how to make cakes!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Sharon is truely THE Cake BOSS. Her cakes are delish, and she is able to do so many unique, creative things.
She did my wedding cake, cupcakes for a shower, and a birthday cake… I got compliments at all 3 parties about how YUMMY and pretty everything was.

Sharon’s cakes are so tasty. At first I thought I wanted fondant, because I like the look. But Sharon changed my mind. She gave me a same of fondant, and it is gross. She only uses fondant for things like flowers etc. She will only cover a cake in frosting. Cool thing is, the frosting looks almost identical to the fondant! We were able to get a cake for our wedding that looked awesome but tasted good too! Can’t wait till our first anniversary to eat the top. at the wedding we didn’t get to have much cake since we were running around with pictures and dances. :(Thanks Sharon!
