Dierbergs Markets

A good store all in all. The location is convenient although the layout is a little strange with the bakery on the opposite side of the store from most of their locations. They also have Lulu’s hot food available if you don’t really want to cook.

I like this Dierberg’s.
I went to get lunch, so that was my focus. There was so much self-​serve, i.e., salad bar and soup bar. Also ready-​to-​eat or heat up dishes that would satisfy a lunch hunger.
And there was a huge crowd getting take-​out lunch from Lulu’s in the back right by the deli and Bob’s barbeque. It was near a congregation there, so I skipped it.
I ended up with Dierberg’s oven-​fried chicken and a couple fried shrimp with cocktail sauce.
I did self-​checkout, and the clerk monitoring the self-​checkout helped me get my cocktail sauce through the evil-​eye weigh, because it was free. And that would mess up the scale.
It worked out fine. I’d go again to get Lulu’s. but it was just so incredibly crowded right at the noon hour, and I was just a little confused about the offerings, not having been there before.
You know, those things where you pick one from column A, one from column B, one from column C. And I didn’t want one from one of the columns. That would have messed it up, with so many people waiting to put in their orders.
I’ll go again at a less busy time for Lulu’s.

Ready to eat food area has a zillion options! They’ve started doing combo sushi sets. That paired with some watermelon makes for a healthy tasty lunch!

I always have the best experiences here! The employees are extremely friendly and I seem to always get Dave when I’m checking out, he jokes a lot and tries to put a smile on everyone’s face as they are waiting to check out. Great selection of groceries and large selection of home grown produce!

I give this place the highest star, because of the hots, fresh, delicious foods. I give this team an A+, always great services. GOD BLESS !!!

I came here recently after a hair cut across the plaza. I thought the selection was not very good in comparision to some other supermarkets in the area. I also thought the staff was pretty unfriendly. No one really seemed to ask me if I needed help looking for anything, or even showed me any kind of greeting at all. I found what I was looking for after walking around a bit, made my purchase and left. If you are in the area, I would drive a bit further down to the one by City Place. It was much nicer and more friendly for sure.

Dierbergs is great. I do my grocery shopping about half here and half at Whole Foods. I loooove Dierbergs because it is usually not crazy busy/​crowded like WF basically always is. The organization of the store is nicely spread out with big aisles and lots of room. This location is about 1.5 miles away from where I live — I’ve walked here a few times in nicer weather. Love having a grocery store within walking distance!
The store is always well-​stocked. They have a really nice alcohol section. There is also a bakery. They make little bread bowls so you can DIY Panera at home! Love it. There is a small gift/​seasonal section with candles, balloons, jewelry, and seasonal decorations.

i live in oakland california. and all i can say is YOU GUYS ARE SPOILED ROTTEN. the grocery stores in CA are tiny and crowded and unless it’s a whole foods, it’s dirty and filled with workers who are crabby, unprofessional, and unhelpful. i LOVE this dierbergs. i get a clean shopping cart and i tool around the ginormous isles filled with interesting and obscure stuff. they have a whole section of gluten free items! this place is spotless. and the deli is HUGE, and there’s a chinese food place, and a large salad bar. the prepared food is very very good, and the selection in the store is incredible. and the people working there are SO totally nice and happy to be there. it’s not the cheapest but for me its still cheaper than whole foods. i absolutely love this place, and i’ve been going to this store since 1997.

Same as most grocery stores, but a preferred one because it is close to me. The salad bar always has grilled chicken and customer service desk has always been there for me.

This is my favorite Dierbergs location. I love the great selection of ready made lunch items since I work within walking distance of this location.

I might miss Dierbergs most of all when we return to Tulsa. The prepared foods section is impressive in both selection and taste. The dill dip was spot-​on with my mother-​in-​laws famous dip and the rye bread was perfect. The chicken pot pie was the best I’ve ever eaten, full of flavor and white meat chicken. The mac & cheese was great. The cinnamon apple stolen was scrumptious.
Dear Dierbergs, please open a store in Tulsa. Love you forever, Steph.

My favorite thing about this location is their huge selection of ready-​to-​eat foods. They have a great salad bar, hot and cold food bar, and also a variety of other pastas/​sandwiches/​soups to choose from. Ever since I discovered this, I’ve been coming here a lot to stock up on my lunches for the week. And I thought it was just another grocery store… great find!

I came here mainly because it was close by. Their produce was only ok and their butcher is decent enough: they have sales on Ribeye and Porterhouse steaks quite often, so that was always a plus.
Their prepared foods section is massive. I think that’s what all the people at the old folks’ home go for. This is also a location with the cooking school.
