I’ve been twice now and if you’re interested in a quality sandwich toasted or not Pickleman’s is the place. Walking in I couldn’t tell it wasn’t a PotBelly sandwich shop. The aroma and layout is very similar. The sandwiches even look the same from the outside. But its the variety that Pickleman’s offers that got me to drive right on past the competition and come back for a 2nd round of deliciousness. This time I got something my other favorite sandwich place doesn’t offer. A pizza. Buffalo chicken with blue cheese. The guys up there know how to do it right. They tossed on a solid amount of sauce and bleu cheese along with a nice helping of chicken. The pizza is really large enough for two, but I didn’t mind having left overs. The sandwiches are very on par with PotBelly. The bread is uncannily the same. Maybe its the exact same, I have no idea. But its good bread and the new options here keep me interested. Once the newness wears off It will be hard to choose between the two places.

The service was great. The food wasn’t I had the meatball sub and it was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. The person I was with had the chili and club he hated the bread and said the chili sucked. We were not impressed and will not be coming back.

Had a late night hankering for some grub, so I found Pickleman’s was still open using an «open now» search on Unilocal. Was able to order right online at about 11:10 pm and the order process was quick and easy. I got an email about 5 mins later that said the expected delivery was about 30 mins. It arrive in under 25 mins. Food was well packed and wrapped. Sandwich was warm and very tasty and the pickle I ordered was big and juicy. Would order again for sure!

Update: redemption. visit today sandwich was tasty and made quickly. —- Person working was unfamiliar with the deals listed on the website? Making me order online on my phone to get deals that did not say they were online only(only one deal said online only, and it was not the deal I ordered). Wtf? Not pleased. I have eaten here many times and have never been so dissatisfied with the customer service and overall experience. This added a substantial delay to get my food(at least 15 minutes). I am on my work meal break and need to be clocked back in on time. At checkout, receipt was double the deal price displayed online. I pointed this out, and they fixed it. I asked about why it does not list as online only. I was told the pick 2 option(normally for half sandwich/soup) actually qualifies for a full sandwich with grilled cheese. Also, the grilled cheese was somewhat of a letdown. Update: Raising to 3 stars. They really should either fix their website to reflect actual policy or educate employees to know specials seen on the website and how to ring them in properly.

I’m sorry, but a hoagie bun microwaved with cheese inside of it is NOT a grilled cheese. I’m serious— it is a bun microwaved to melt the cheese that is in it. That’s it! BLEH! I have now tried 2 different sandwiches, 2 different salads, and the Tomato Bisque soup. I haven’t found anything good yet. I’m not sure why everyone in my office is obsessed with this place because I think the food is terrible!

Pickle man’s Café is next to where I work. Ok that confession is now out for the world to see. This is the first time I ever came here. One of my Unilocal friends Ben S. wrote a review and it kind of made it to the front of my mind Paul you need to get here. So I came I saw I ate. For my lunch I ordered the Italian sub combo. Which came with beef, pepperoni, mozzarella on a toasted whole wheat bun. I asked for it loaded which meant peppers, onion, lettuce and tomatoes where also added. My first bite was a great explosion of flavors. Good stuff. I hope to work this into my lunch rotation.

Service was excellent but the sub missed the mark. It was not bad, just average. Other options in the area were better suited for my taste.

We really like this place, however, I will second what some other reviewers have said regarding portions. The prices, for what you get, are a little high. My wife and I ordered a salad(for her) and a turkey sandwich(for me), which were both delicious but small. Our cost was over $ 20. It’s worth trying out, but don’t go here if you’re starving to death. You may leave still hungry.

Good food, service was prompt and they got my order quickly. Seems a bit pricey for the portions, but not so much you wouldn’t come here again. They do deliver which is a bonus I’m sure for a lot of the businesses in the area.

Me and my coworkers order from here at least once a week. It’s one of our favorites because everyone can get something they like. Pizza, sandwiches, soups or salads. They have a great online ordering system and delivery is always prompt and food is always warm. Can honestly say I’ve never actually been in the store since we always get delivery, but our delivery drivers are always nice!

Great choice for a toasted sub! Pizza looked pretty decent also but I was there for a toasted sub. Ham and cheese on a Gonnella roll. I love a Gonnella roll because it reminds me of my childhood in Chicago. Ham was good but nothing special. The provolone melted nicely and the veges were very fresh. Note: this location has a regular soda fountain instead of a freestyle machine.

Great tasting salad and soup. Friendly and helpful staff! Went with friends the next day and got just a sandwich. It was really good. Try a cookie. They taste like scratch!

My husband and I decided to go here for dinner last night. The menu seemed simple and light, which is what we were looking for. I had the half beef sandwich and broccoli n cheese soup. The sandwich was about 3 – 4 inches long. The beef was tender and had a very slight boost of spice. They that the sandwiches which allowed the bread to crisp nicely. The soup needed some help. Although it was creamy and had a nice amount of broccoli in it, the cheese tested like melted Velveeta. That isn’t a compliment. Out needed some seasoning and basic TLC to make it taste like someone cared. The drink options were basic.

Worth the stop. Friendly staff and delicious food. The #11 with peppers was worth the $ 6.

My tuna salad sandwich was very good: The wheat bread was toasted, the vegetables were fresh, and the onions were red onions. The tomato basil soup was creamy and full of flavor. For a casual-lunch-counter-sandwich-shop, this one is good.

There are so many sandwich shops on Olive nowadays. Subway, Potbelly, and now Pickleman’s. All three are decent. Pickleman’s interior is nice. There’s nothing amazing about it, but it’s a sandwich shop. What do you expect?(then again, Potbelly’s interior is awesome…) The food itself is tasty and nourishing. However, the main thing is that it’s very plain. The grilled cheese is just cheese melted onto a slice of bread. It tastes fine, but there isn’t that much flavor. Their salad is pretty good as well. The people behind the counter are always nice and friendly. Interior– 3⁄5 Food– 4⁄5 Service– 4.5÷5 OVERALL– 4⁄5

We ordered pizza to go and were sorely disappointed. It was tasteless, we were unable to add jalapenos or mushrooms to the ‘za and the whole experience was underwhelming. We’ll pass.

Pickleman’s is a great place if you’re looking for a good, filling, won’t break the bank lunch. I stopped by to pick up something quick and ordering was a big confusing, especially where to start the line and where the line should wrap around. Once all that was figured out the menu was pretty easy to read. I picked the BLTC for the family member with me, minus cheese and added a small side Caesar salad for me. Chips were pricey but of course added for that crunch that one needs. Both were delicious and eaten right up. I cannot wait to go and try other things from the menu. This is a great lunch stop.

I can’t even talk about how excited I was when I learned there was a Pickleman’s coming up near me! I’ve ordered it many times and stopped by there once so far. Their delivery is always ultra fast, and the order has never been wrong :) I always tell people, you cannot go wrong ordering from Pickleman’s. Sandwiches are good, pizzas(really, flatbreads) are good, salads are good. Here’s the other thing — THECOOKIESAREREALGOOD. So soft and chewy. Cookies are very important to me. My personal favs are the chipolte chicken sandwich, asiago chicken salad, and grilled cheese/tomato bisque combo. This last one is my fav especially for chilly/rainy days. Love you Pickleman’s! Writing this review makes me want to order ASAP this week!
