Recently saw an AC/DC cover band. Went with a group of friends. Really fun place. Will go again, no doubt. Well drinks are good. Nice staff and good food.

Was in there last night for the warriors game. The staff was awesome and taking care of each every customer. Had the chicken nachos and they were the best i have had in a long time. If you are ever in the area, you got to stop by and have a few cold ones while trying something on the delicious menu.

It’s not every night you get to go to a bar with a mermaid barfing chunk light tuna on the wall. All in all, Toot’s is a wonderful bar with great sound, fun bands and charming décor. However, once when I went to see a friend’s band at this bar, I noticed that what seemed like a six year old child hunched over a mobile screen, seemingly abandoned in the corner of the bar. I initially assumed he had reverse Methuselah syndrome(ya know, the anti-Jack) or was one them Benjamen Button folks. Yet, upon further observation, I found what I presumed to be his mother(based on her interactions with the wee man child) taking copious Patron shots, thus confirming(for me) his status as a minor. We alerted the bar staff, who initially seemed to share our horror. In the end though, nothing came of the situation and upon further inquiry, one of the staff informed us that though the situation was admittedly«fucked up», it was in fact legal(a fact which I still doubt). Even if this is in fact entirely on the level, the fact that the staff made a moral choice for his parent’s immoral choice to continue is problematic. Though there are many aspects of the bar that are absolutely charming, this particular aspect continues to haunt me. Then again, maybe the kid had a fantastic fake ID.

Is a cool place. everyone that works there is great. Only problem that I have is the stage for live music is to low to the ground. If there are more than 20 people in the venue watching a band, it’s almost impossible to see the band unless they are ten feet tall. Paid 16 $ to see a show, but couldn’t see anything because there were about 50 people there. An easy fix if the stage was raised about 8″. Wouldn’t cost that much either and would make the experience so much better!

Toot’s Tavern is definitely a gem! It’s a bit far from everything but worth the drive(bring a DD). The manager gave us a tour of the upstairs last time we were there and gave us a little history on the building. It’s such an interesting old building! I would definitely recommend checking it out!

The owner is a really nice guy and makes you feel at home. The bar is one of those places that tells you a lot about the local area and those that frequent it. I would love to see a band and have a Hamms here, yes they have Hamms! They have great tap selection and the bartender is a cutie. Thumbs way up!

There are few places where one can get great local beer and locally made food. This is one of them. I wish I’d taken a photo before I devoured the burger. Every time I come here the service is so satisfactory that I feel guilty that I can’t tip the chef more. His food is made with love and great ingredients. Dave. you’re a master of your craft. Laura, Matthew. keep running it well. And to the phenomenal bartenders Kelly, Samantha, Brittany, Michael, Shaun. you make a world of difference. Thank you!

Came here to see Cruela and Pity the Foo with my gf Jen O. Pretty cool venue! They serve their cocktails and beer in a mason jar and priced pretty reasonable. Ample space and dance floor. They also have a billiard room and access outside for smoking and a food truck. Only parking was tough.

Just moved to Crockett from Silicon Valley. I was a little intimidated by the outside of Toot’s but heard about the amazing diversity of the live music and how relaxed and friendly the patrons were so in I went. And I’ve been back, several times. The interior is beautiful. The bartenders are friendly and I’ve seen 3 great bands, all on Sunday afternoons.

Great music! Great drinks! Good venue for music! Always something happening at Toots. Music is off the hook. Some of the best bands in the Bay Area frequent this place. As an artist, I love it here. It really hits the zeitgeist!

I was in SF for a weekend conference and extended my visit a few days so could catch up with old friends, having formerly lived in the lovely city. I found my way into Toot’s while visiting friends who recently moved to Crockett. I had never heard of the town prior to my visit, but got the sense I had arrived in one that is governed by a days-gone-by mentality. Your neighbors actually know you, strangers smile and talk to you. that sort of thing. Anyway, Toot’s. Lord, the place was a hoot! Definitely a local’s joint, and one that made me wish I had a similar dive bar to mosey into near me in Denver. It was incredibly sunny outside that day, so despite wearing sunglasses, it still took my eyes a while to adjust to the dim lighting. I seemed to notice something new every minute. I’m not exactly sure how I feel about the menagerie of stuffed animals(taxidermy style) that adorn the walls, but somehow it works and is oddly endearing. There was a long bar, full of regulars, and a separated room to the back where concerts are held. I’m also told that Tuesday is karaōke night, if that’s your thing. We were served by Kim and Michael, both friendly and attentive, able to pour drinks and keep the conversation flowing. Besides drinks, we also all got food, including the Nachos, the Bahn Mi Polish dog, and the Reuben. Seriously, I had set the bar reallllly low, but the food was fantastic. Who knew a dive bar could churn out such tasty dishes? All in all, this is a great spot that I would happily return to should I find myself in Crockett again.

Good bar. Friendly people. We went for live music advertised on web site only to find the show was cancelled. They need to keep web site up to date.

Came to watch The Ghost Next Door play at Toot’s. I have not been to Crockett much, so it was a fun experience to try something new and support a friend’s band at a local tavern. I really liked Toot’s, it’s fun for a dive bar. They had decent brands for well drinks that were strong and cheap and they had many different beers on tap that kept my guy happy too. It was a fun place and great local vibe. We really had a great night and would most definately come back again.

Toot’s Tavern is a fun bar, lots of history, nice bartenders. Has great music, all genres from Heavy Metal, Rock, Country, Americana, Blues. Different music every weekend. I love going to the Blues and BBQ once a month, usually the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month from 1:00 — 4:00. Great pulled pork sandwiches and ribs.

So I was bored with the typical metal boy band but then came this band with super sexy girls with great voices and energy — Feathersomething. Super entertaining. Super hot chicks. I wanna turn to girls now…

I dig this place and don’t get to go as often as I’d like. Or rather as WE’d like. On different parenting shifts, my husband and I go separately at different times of the day, but both of us enjoy ourselves. I head over occasionally during the afternoon, when my husband is home and my kid is taking his nap. I get to leave the house for an hour, enjoy a good beer and chat with Kelly or Matt. My husband goes in for happy hour. I actually ask him to go, because our son gets too hyper when he comes home from work making it impossible to get him to bed on time. So, my husband hops off the Transbay bus, transfers home to Crockett and ducks into Toots for a bourbon cocktail that he says are pretty good and a more than a fair price. Toot’s a different place at night, more hopping with shows. But as a local I enjoy a quiet afternoon and the selection of beers, which includes Racer 5 on tap and Trumer Pils and Pinkus by bottle. I love to hear about history of the place as told by the bartenders. The setting and old bar is a gem.

Prior to coming here, I had never heard of Toots Tavern, or the town of Crockett for that matter. We came in for a concert, and I was highly impressed. They have the main bar area, and then the stage area in a separate room. Even though the stage is separated, it’s not closed off the way a lot of bars are. The bar opens out to the stage so even sitting at the bar you can see the bands. They serve the normal beers you’d expect in a dive bar and some fancier bottled beers. Also the regular assortment of liquor. They serve a limited food menu(soup, hot dogs) for limited hours. I believe weekdays from 5 – 8? I had a hot dog. Instead of being a microwaved Oscar Meyer like I expected, it was a large, ball park style dog with an excellent bite to it. Service was excellent, crowd was friendly. If I lived in Crockett, I would hang out here.

Great bar, great live music — virtually every night, fun place !!! Love that the bar is open to the stage so so all can see & hear the band on the stage. On a night before the band played live, I played bocci ball in the bar with several of the patrons — much fun!!! Great prices — great music! I plan to visit often…
