Best Storage

Sad to hear of the bad experiences at this location… I just wanted to list my experience, which was really pretty good! The front office staff helped me out when I forgot my lock code and they were always helpful when I had a question. The facility itself is clean and well maintained. I never had any complaints!

I had never needed a storage unit up until recently, so I had no idea how pushy self storage operators could be! WOW! If you make a call to any of them, be prepared for a hard sales push highlighting whatever ‘sales’ they have going on. They push you to commit at the end of the phone call instead, even when you say that you are just calling to compare prices. They also mildly threaten you with the fact that a) the sale is going to end or b) they are running out of units. I told them «If I’m not worried, you don’t be either.»
I say all that to say that I had the complete opposite experience at Best Storage and that’s why I am a customer today. The units are clean and spacious. Their prices are always slightly lower than the nearest competitor and the customer service is really great. The guy who helped me (I really need to learn his name already; he’s there every time I go in) always greets me with a smile and is eager to help with whatever questions I have.
Today, I learned that I could get packages delivered straight to the storage unit and that they would sign for them and have the delivery guy put them in my unit if I provided a key for the lock. I couldn’t pass it over fast enough! lol! Hubby is getting tired of all my work packages gathering in the living room. :)
I would definitely recommend Best Storage (which is family owned and operated) to anyone. You would be hard pressed to find a better storage facility within a good 30 miles. Believe me: I checked with every storage facility from Bowie to Baltimore and beyond!
