Ok this place is hidden in a shopping center. It could be very hard to miss. But this is a pretty nice place. I love it. I love the different sandwiches they have and all the different sauces they have for the wings. They have some good damn wings, with bones and bone less. The place is kind of dirty and needs to be remodeled.

Wings here were ok. We did wait a good while for them to be done and they were a bit soggy as another reviewer mentioned. They weren’t bad though, just nothing spetacular. I prefer the old bay wings at Walden or Crofton Country Club. I think the process of the wing cooking may be a problem, cooking in advance then adding the sauce. I prefer a crispier wing but if you like a squishier soggier wing, you may like these plus they do have a good variety of flavors. They were an ok value, not great, just ok. If you eat in, it’s definitely not fancy but I wouldn’t say dirty, just normal, fast-food type place. I would call in advance to order your wings if you don’t like waiting.

I don’t get it. I simply don’t get this place. I don’t get the high reviews. I don’t get the atmosphere. I don’t get the décor. I just don’t get it. Only ordered food from there once. Chicken wings to eat while watching Virginia Tech football. It’s a good thing the Hokies won because the wings lost. They were battered, deep fried, then thrown in sauce. Battered wings that are then thrown in sauce results in too much sogginess. The sauce itself was only mediocre at best. I personally will not be returning. The whole experience(including the interior of the place) left me feeling dirty.

I am not a fan of their chicken sandwiches. I’m comparing them to Chik-Fil-A, and there’s just no comparison. Cluck-U chicken sandwiches are just way more greasy and heavy. I felt very poor for the rest of the afternoon after eating lunch here. Can’t comment on the wings. Maybe that’s what I should have been ordering based on the other comments here.

I think Cluck makes the best wings, they have so many choices of sauces and my favorite sauce is teriyaki. They also have quite a few choices in addition to the best wings and fries.

I have to admit, I was not impressed at all by this store. I have been to several other cluck u’s and had great service and enjoyed the meal. The Crofton store has been quite a disappointment to me. They have shorted me items several times and over fried the chicken to the point of it being rock hard not to mention the service was very slow. I don’t believe I will be visiting them again.

I had never been to a Cluck-U for two reasons; first off I thought the name was stupid, and secondly the location in the Crofton area just made me think«dirty»! But oh oh oh, the wraps, the wings, the fries, delish. The wait for our food(a good 15 minutes), not so much. They have quite an extensive menu, salads, sandwiches, wraps, wings, fingers and regular fried chicken. I ordered the Blue Buffalo Chicken wrap(a tortilla filled with grilled or crispy chicken, wing sauce and blue cheese) and my friend had the wing combo. Both were yummy yumz. The only thing I’d suggest if you come to this location, which is in a business park, call ahead so you can just come right in, pay, and leave with your food. Otherwise, because so many choose this place over their lunch hour, you’ll be sitting there waiting.
