I will never return to this establishment after the problems that I have had. Today was the very first time I visited this office and surprisingly it came highly recommended by a few people. My initial reaction was that it was a quaint establishment and the sign in process was mostly painless minus the receptionist being very rude about needing mine and my boyfriend’s glasses before we saw the doctor. My boyfriend, who is also a first time patient, needs his glasses to see everything and the receptionist was constantly telling him that she needed his glasses, even after repeatedly being told that he needed them to finish his paperwork. The doctor was very quiet and not very personable, I felt like I was being an imposition. The man who was there was the absolute worst though, he was extremely pushy about the glasses he thought were best for me and kept insulting my current pair. When I told him that I was not going to purchase frames or lenses from them the man became very short and seemed like he could not stand us being in the office anymore. When I asked for a copy of my prescription he cut me off and replied with something along the lines of «I am getting it». After leaving I went to Lenscrafters to look at frames and wound up finding a pair that I really liked but when I sat down with the sales person to start the process of checking out I was informed that Crofton Optical had told my insurance company that I had purchased glasses from them when I did not. As a result my insurance said that I was not eligible for a new pair of glasses until next year. The sales associate asked me to call the office and ask them to release my insurance so that I could resume my purchase of my frames, but when I called the receptionist was short and angry, I hung up and told the sales associate that she had informed me that it would be done within the hour. Long story short we had to call four more times and each time they refused to release my insurance. I ended up leaving the store without my frames. They still have not released my insurance and I have to call back again tomorrow. Do not go to this business, they are rude and refuse to do their jobs.

Gentleman on the office was curt and impatient. Why did I have to ask for a copy of my prescription? Felt like I was intruding but only the person in the office.
