I’ll estimate I’ve played at 75% of the public hockey facilities in the state of Connecticut. This one strikes me as certainly not the best, but certainly not the worst.
Few facilities have a true Olympic-​sized rink — this one does. But there’s a problem… the boards aren’t straight. They lean away from the ice. I think the Outback Steakhouse «Bloomin’ Onion» is the most appropriate analogy here.
Locker rooms are kinda gross, and a tad small. But they always have great skate sharpeners at the pro shop, and that counts for a lot. Hockey’s a filthy game anyway, so I’ll gladly take that trade any day of the week.
