Dairy Queen

This Dairy Queen is good. It meets standards with looks. The food is great! No problems with the service. When you order food, they deliver the food to your table if you are eating in (similar to a restaurant.) Now i believe in their saying, «This is fan food, not fast food.» I recommend going here if your are looking for an affordable quick bite.

This DQ has obviously been renovated recently and and it is REALLY nice, both inside and out.
The menu screens behind the counter are now digital, digital and the dining area actually looks pretty upscale for your traditional fast food restaurant.
They give you an order number card and bring your food to your table. We had an ice cream cone and a hot fudge sundae. Both were great! Food coming out to other tables looked good also.

This location is a complete mess. Such unprofessional service almost every time.
The latest one was tonight. I pull up to the drive through and order two Blizzards. No «Thank you, pull up», just a «Is that all». Fine…
I pull up to the window and he takes my card. Hands me the Blizzards. No tray no bag. I’m alone in the car, so I guess he expects me to eat them by myself. I ask for the tray he hands me a tray in the car. Seems like for $ 12 this should have all been done before he handed this to me.
Seems petty but this is just 1 in a string of many…

I love the ice cream!

This is sad to say or may be an indictment on how simple I am when it comes to food, but this Dairy Queen is actually one of my favorite restaurants.
My best friend and I used to go every Saturday for lunch because the restaurant is always clean, the food is always hot and the service is always great.
For a chain that is famous for it’s ice cream, I think you are shorting yourself if you don’t go there for a quick lunch or dinner. Their prices are better than other fast food joints and the quality of their food is way above that of a McDonalds or Burger King.
In addition to the good food, there is also a lot of value: The $ 5 lunch is an incredible deal and would cost almost twice that anywhere else.

I know it’s just ice cream, but…
I ordered a small soft serve with cherry dip. The cone was just sitting on the counter behind the ice cream desk. I was never told by the cashier that I had to wait there. When I spoke up, the ice cream girl (tall blonde teenager) threw out by ice cream. Rather than being sympathetic, she makes me a new cone, but skimped on the ice cream.
I know it is a chain and I completely understand that the kids working there absolutely hate their job, but they need to understand if they want hours to pay for their textbooks, then show some sympathy.
What a waste of $ 2.33 and a butt load of calories!

Stopped here while shopping. Been years since I been in a Dairy Queen. I felt welcome. Order the $ 5.00 lunch special was good. Staff is friendly. Place is clean. Busy place. Nice treat !

Clean, efficient and well trained staff. Food is ordered at counter and delivered to your table (eat in). No tipping. For the fast food market it’s a bit nicer than McDonalds up the street.
