I’ve been going to Chris (the owner) my whole life. Literally.
When she was at Ritas, I went there as a child to occasionally get my hair done but more to hang out while my mom got her’s done. I’m multiracial (Scottish & African on one side, and Italian & Lithuanian on the other) and my hair is locked in a constant battle against one side’s desire to be very straight, and extremely tight African curls on the other. Dealing with my hair has been my life’s battle.
That being said, Chris was one of the first hair-​dressers who knew how to handle my hair and take care of it; so when she made her own business in Cromwell, I followed her. She and her partner Amber are really fantastic. They deal with a variety of hair types (I know because the clientele there is always many races) and most of their clientele are like me– people who have been coming for years because they know it’s good.
The best part about Studio 325 and being taken care of by Chris and Amber is I can confidently say that they will do only what is best for you. They will always tell me if they think what I have suggested could damage my hair and offer up a better or creative solution to a forseen ‘problem’. They are always open to squeeze you in for an appointment if you’re desperate, and are always friendly.
Overall: I’ve been going there my whole life, and will continue to as long as I can. There is no other establishment I trust as much with my hair!
