TPC River Highlands

Great course for a PGA event. Been going to The Travelers for the past 5 years. Always a great time.

I find it repulsive that men frequently feel they can pee on the course. As a resident I frequently observe this behavior. Five minutes ago on hole number one someone felt compelled to relieve himself.
Previous complaints have not solved the problem.
I think it is rude and not keeping with the image this beautiful course wants to portray.

Loved the course — lots of great terrain changes — plays much longer than the card implies with par 70, long par 3s, and a few short par 4s. Other par 4s are just monsters. Greens a little slower than I like for a private course and staff was friendly and accommodating. So why the 3-​star? Honestly a series of negative encounters with members (we’re playing from a different TPC). Foursome in front of us never even thought about letting our twosome play thru (foursomes in front of them, but etiquette would at least acknowledge when we’re sitting on same teebox as you). Then when two of your group drops out after 9, no offer to play with them — friendly! Guys behind us reprimand us for driving in the wrong area (sorry first time playing the course), not tucking in our shirt (just took off my sweater for one hole), and question how we got on the course. Honestly, loved the course, but these folk soured the entire experience — too bad, but have zero interest in going back (and not good mojo for when they visit other TPC courses).

This is one of the most fun courses I have played. Holes 15 – 18 are the best series of finishing holes I’ve ever seen. A true test of nerve with tight fairways and an ever looming water hazard. Greens roll true but if you are working on a low number I’d recommend stalking your ball from all angles if you want anything less than a 3 putt. Look forward to playing it again.

Beautiful, fan friendly, tons of shops, amenities, and food service. A beautiful place to sit in the sun and enjoy the spectacle of PGA Golf.
