This is the worst Wal-Mart by far due to the lack of cashiers! I come here every Tuesday evening and it never fails; only 2 regular cashier and the self checkout cashier. OMG! I’m patient and all but this is ridiculous! I have maybe 7 items and I have to wait at least 10 – 15 min to get checked out.

You don’t need to know much more than this — after some arcane combination of discounts, vouchers, coupons, and voodoo magic, I got out for $ 252. I got a full contact lens exam($ 130), a **year** of Acuvue 2 lenses($ 103), and a new cheapo pair of glasses($ 19). That’s the best deal I’ve ever gotten in vision care. Dr. Michael Soehnlen(«sen-len») performed the exam quickly, and was quite nice as he made small talk throughout the process. You pay him separately, then take your prescription to the retail side for eyewear purchases. Ingrid was great — she helped me find a cheap pair of glasses, ordinarily $ 38, but discounted to $ 19 because I bought a year of contact lenses. And yes, that’s the price for the whole shebang. Full price frames start at a measly $ 8, lenses start at $ 30. Oh… and I can see really super well. That’s kinda important.
