Fool me once, your fault… Fool me twice… Auuugh! Visited a week apart, and found them to be closed during«open» hours twice. Twice! This is not exactly in a location thats close to anything, either. Its quite a trek from the city just to find out that they decided to close early, or for the day, or what have you(without a sign indicating as such I might add). The most basic part of any business is being open when you say you are open. The real slap in the face, however, is a positive one! These people, from peeking through the window, seem to know what they’re doing! If they didn’t, I’d give ‘em one star for giving me not the best day ever. The place is absolutely beautiful, and they seem to have all the ingredients true raw foodists actually need to survive and thrive. Just a guess… but, I bet this place is amazing!(maybe they suffer from lack of an audience in this pretty as heck, but off the beaten path location?) I hope when I’m back in NY I can actually get to experience this apparent amazingness, and upgrade my review to 5 stars. :) I mean, just look at the pics they posted online… Whooooa. That’s real Pure Food & Wine type stuff. Maybe even better!

A raw food bar in the middle of Yellow Monkey Village(!)? Yes indeed. This charming area in Cross River affords a spa, a floral boutique, an antiques shop and this haven for those looking for the healthiest food one can find. I could not help but be seduced by the whirl of the Vitamix and gave into their signature Green drink which was like a mad passionate affair with the Jolly Green Giant’s non GMO BigAgro whipped twin brother, LOL! With two different kinds of kale and not too much wheatgrass it was doable and enjoyable. Wheatgrass, ickiepoo but I braved up and am glad for it as raw food bars are few and very far between round here. :(((
