I always stop in local yarn shops while traveling. Bought a Tennessee shawl set, includes pattern and yarn. Of course I had to buy a shawl stick that goes with it. Owner and employee super nice and helpful. Encouraged me to hang out and knit they also showed me a different cast on. Would definitely shop there again.

Great yarn shop! Lots of cute extras, like bags and stitch markers. Also loved the selection of malabrigo! Definitely worth a trip if you are in town!

This was an accidental find — and a really lovely small shop. The two ladies working today were cheerful and very helpful. I did, of course, buy more than I planned. There was a fine selection of very lovely unusual yarn, bit it was more expensive, so I bought moderately unusual yarns at a more moderate price, and couldn’t be more pleased.

As a seasoned knitter, you know I stop at ALL yarn shops wherever I go. This one rates an «A» for variety and quality, staff knowledge, and friendliness. I took a class while there– good value and $ for the hour private lesson. Not far from the highway. Close to Fairfield Glade. Truly one of the best yarn shops I’ve ever been to. This was a real treat and unanticipated surprise! Check it out.

Okay, so I wrote a review for this store. I emailed the owner to tell her to check out Unilocal,as I was pretty sure that she had never heard of it. I also wanted her to see what I wrote about her store and my experiences there for the public to see. However, she told me that my review was not posted. I logged out of my account and looked at Unilocal, and to my surprise, she was right. My review was not posted. I guess that Unilocal filtered my review, which kinda ticks me off. But, I will just say that if I cannot share my thoughts and experiences about this store with the users of Unilocal,I will just say that this store is great, and give no explanation. Any knitter who is in the area should certainly stop by this store. It may even be worth going out of your way to stop by. I wish I could say more, but my review might get filtered.

I’ve never personally been to this store, however I can say for sure that the owner runs a great business, and cares about giving back to the community. My mother was knitting hats for cancer patients who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. I wanted to get some yarn for her, as well as some patterns to make various different hats. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner donated a bag full of a variety of high quality yarns, as well as patterns, and even needles. It is so refreshing to come across a small business that is willing to donate to a good cause, especially given the current state of the non-small business friendly economy. Thank you Yarn Patch! I wish a successful future for you.
