Update: I went in and talked to manager about location… he assured me changes are happening and they are trying to keep everything as clean as possible and functioning as possible. I was also assured the group fitness classes should be updated online… it’s 7⁄30 and June is still up. I have to call ahead of time to try to figure out when the classes are. And they’re touting themselves as being i-Fit. usually the i means it’s related to internet… fail. Also, they did a group class day last Saturday to have members try their classes out… all of the classes ran behind. I just don’t think they realize what class schedules and things mean to the rest of the public with a schedule and things on their to do list. If you’re looking for a gym with basic equipment, you’re good on working out on your own, then this is a perfectly good place. If you’re looking for good customer service, knowledgeable staff, and class schedules you can look up online and count on… you might go to the BRICK. The manager seems like a really nice guy and I think he really wants to turn this gym around, but I’ll believe it when I see it. He’s a LOT better than the management that was there before. The crazy Michelle lady is there still — just avoid her at all costs and you’ll save yourself a headache.

Clean and friendly place, recently getting a facelift too. Plenty of free weights and cardio machines and also and separate workout space for the ladies. Never done the classes so I can’t comment on it but I seem plenty of people that go to them. People at the gym are friendly enough to ask them for help without feeling embarrass of doing the wrong thing on a machine. Only complain that I would like them to add more TV’s

I usually workout 4 – 5 times a week fairly religiously. This is a clean club with a friendly staff and good equipment. I can come early in the mornings if I need some peace and quiet while working out, or come during peak hours of 5−8pm if I want to find a workout partner. Rarely ever do I see corn starch or powdered chalk on the floor or hear the banging of members dropping weights after finishing sets.

OK, here’s the deal. My first year at this facility was amazing. The class instructors were great, and everything was lovely. I even referred 6 or 7 people who did in fact join the gym. Which is a perk for existing members because each referral earns you one month free membership! SCORE… ORSO I THOUGHT. So, I renewed for year #2. THEN the staff and management changed and everything went downhill. The equipment is always in need of repair. The cushions on the equipment are cracked and tattered and taped together. The instructors that were there that I loved are now gone; one of which I know due to discord with the facility owner and management. One of the managers literally chewed out an instructor right in front of me. I found this to be VERY rude and unprofessional. She could have done this in private. I have made friends with several trainers and people in the gym itself, and I love them to death, but I dislike the gym itself. It just seems like the owner is more concerned with the profit portion of running a gym instead of truly caring for the members and their fitness needs. Needless to say, this place is not good to their members nor the staff. I have seen the staff belittled on several occasions. Hopefully, someday the owner will get it together and listen to the people and hire much more friendly management that treats the employees nicer. The best part about this place is the kid care girls are AWESOME and very nice to my kiddos.

Don’t go here. The staff is a bunch of thugs and the people there are super rude. I work out 5 days a week and I need all the machines I can use… These machines never worked because they would break down and nobody would fix them for months. The treadmills slipped and the place smells like piss… Texas Forever
