I think this spot is even better then their East Village location —
amazing cuts & brisket!

Not even close to any of the other nighty winn’s.
If you want that, go to any of the other ones.

Amazed this place even got 2 stars!!! If i can give it zero i would. Service was terrible and food was terrible. I ordered wings and they took over and hour and half to get not to mention i went to the window 3 times and asked, each time i was told i will get them in 3 minutes. So after he was done texting and i guess his high finally wore off i got my wings and they ended up in the garbage where they should have been from the start.

Was there past Sunday to pick up my order. Brisket was good, buns hard as hockey pucks. For the amount spent to feed four people, not worth it. Coleslaw ¼ cup, baked beans ¼ cup, etc. To feed all. Definitely not a repeater! Employees need to be trained on customer service. We are patronizing you not you to us. Get it together!

I’m so over this place. I had an issue a year ago where the food was horrid and decided to order through Caviar because… I would have liked to think it learned from it’s mistakes. Well. It didn’t. (Partially my fault, I get it.)
I ordered the Brisket, half pound, naked, with a small sweet potato casserole. I asked for extra BBQ sauce and the side of pickles and peppers– didn’t receive either. The brisket wasn’t a half pound and was either super dry or just pieces of fat. I did receive what amounted to one small amuse bouche of nasty cole slaw– thanks.
As someone said previously, and I immediately thought as well, this place is not doing the MQ business any justice. Please get it together or close it down. The other locations and the food are perfect.
So, essentially, I wasted $ 20 on crap.

The Bergn outpost of Mighty Quinn is not doing the name any good. I’ve never had MQ BBQ from any of the other locations and was looking forward to trying it. I order food but I got slop with sauce on a dish with a side of canned sweet potatoes.

Now the nastiness. i was looking foward to eating here cause i never been and i wanted bbq. i got two sandwiches fries and the broccoli. i didnt enjoy it cause as i ate the pulled pork a long brown piece of hair was also in my mouth from this digusting restaurant. I know you get hair in your food it happens but i was so gross to pull that hair out of my mouth and see all that pulled pork wrapped around it. Gross gross gross. they should be wearing hair nets. male or female.
Im a hairstylist so honestly im not usually grossed out by hair. but this piece of hair was long and thick and i think it was probably fake not sure and i dont care just have your employees be clean. nasty ass restaurant. i will never eat at any mighty quinns what so ever. whenever i think about that damn hair my stomach turns… so fucking grosss… yuck.

Terrible First Experience. This is for the Crown Heights location. I ordered two sandwiches. Pulled Pork And Burnt Ends. When i received my food it was naked meaning with out bread. I asked the cashier and he stated they ran out with the customer prior to me placing my order. Yet I wasnt notified of this. I wanted sandwiches thats why I ordered it. The pulled pork was cold to the touch. Burnt ends were luke warm. My fries were cold as well. Both the cashier and cook were very nonchalant when I stated my issues withy service. No apologies made. I hope that the other locations have better employees and service. I won’t spend my money there however. Completely turned off with the whole experience.

This review is for food only, because I ordered through Caviar — so no idea on the location. The Buttermilk Broccoli is the best broccoli I’ve ever had in my life. I just want to eat this every day. Pulled pork w/​the homemade kim chi is also delish. I like that the pulled pork is really flavorful, but not TOO saucy.

Always delicious, but this location is obviously a lot smaller. It is one of I believe four vendors and is definitely the most popular of the bunch. They always have a steady stream of people going up to their counter or a good size line.
My one criticism is that this location is not as efficient as the 2^nd avenue location (we had to go back to ask for napkins). There are only two workers — one who takes the order, fills sides, and alerts people to when their order is ready and another who just cuts up the meats and refills the food. so basically, you pay, get a little circle that will alert you when your order is ready and go and find seats/​wait until your circle buzzes.
Finally, the menu is a little different than what I am used to. I only eat the cole slaw with vinegar but they didn’t have the option for the slaw with mayo — and they were SUPER stingy with the cole slaw that comes with your food. They had the half chicken but didn’t have the grilled chicken that is offered at 2^nd avenue (and I got the last one at like 8pm on a busy saturday night). They don’t give you as much burnt ends in the baked beans as you would get at 2^nd avenue.
That being said, I like that my favorite bbq place is so close to home and would return in the future if I really didn’t feel like going into manhattan.

This is the stall in the Berg’n beer hall. I had the brisket slider ($ 5) and spicy chicken wings ($ 7.50 for 6pc). The slider was tasty with the pickles added and slathered in the bbq sauce. The wings had a pretty good flavor, but not very spicy at all and were a little dry/​tough. Overall not bad, but was expecting a little better. I would probably give some of other menu items a try, but will not be in a rush to do so.
