Lighthouse Construction & Restoration did an absolutely amazing job on my kitchen remodel and on two of my bathrooms! Couldn’t be happier with the craftsmanship! The entire team of gentlemen were extremely polite and payed great attention to every little detail! I highly recommend them for any home project! Will definitely use them again!

If I could give negative stars I would. My brother recommended them as he was friends with the owner. I live in a modular home and was looking to pretty much gut the bathrooms as well as all new floors throughout, complete interior painting and new counter tops, back splash and bar in kitchen. This was almost 4 years ago, I am still dealing with the horrible job they did on almost everything. At first glance I was pleased, it looked very nice. The guy kept telling me how he wasn’t making any money off of it, was just breaking even since my brother was a friend. I do not believe a word of that because I priced my materials and generously added extra for parts and what not they may have used that I didn’t know about. I still could have gotten it done for way under what he charged me. And I can’t imagine they could have done a worse job. I was charged over $ 2000 just for painting. It was supposed to be two coats and primer. There are bare spots all over. They didn’t even bother to run sandpaper over the walls first(like Joe assured me they would) and if there was a hole they put some Spackle on it but never sanded it down and then painted over it. In one of the bathrooms the new vanity was shorter then the old and they just left that rift in the wall and painted over it. I’ve had to repaint almost the entire house. They also applied the trim and bathroom fixtures while the paint was still wet so when you remove them it just rips chunks out of the wall or leaves rifts you have to sand down everywhere. They installed my counter tops but lowered them by a good inch and a half, not sure why. They also had a cut right next to the sink which I thought was odd since the counter top was all one piece when it was purchased. Well when I went to install a new dishwasher I found out why. They had already finished those when I got the dishwasher last time so they had to cut the counter top to drop it in! I now can’t re install a new dishwasher unless I take my counter top off! My ceramic floor tile is a mess. After 4 years it’s tenting and the grout is crumbling and cracking apart. I had a professional floor company come in to tell me the tile wasn’t laid correctly or grouted correctly. So excited to hear how much that’s going to cost to have redone. I will say my bar top and back splash look nice. I’ve had to have a ton of the pipes fixed they did because they started leaking. They put the wrong light fixture in the dining room(not sure how they mixed up a chandelier style fixture and a utility light) and never returned to do it like they were supposed to. They ruined my(albeit cheap) kitchen cabinets and assured me they would come back and fix them. Never did. I could go on and on about how horrible of a job they did on EVERYTHING. Everything is uneven and wreaks of shoddy craftsman ship. The cost of fixing and replacing everything they did has been ridiculous. Of course I never heard from Joe again. I guess once he was paid it didn’t matter. If you’re considering using this company I strongly suggest you only do it if you have the time and money to have someone else come in and repair everything after.
