Fantastic Service, the humor was excellent. Enjoyed the laughs. Hope you enjoyed the Crown Rye! Great prices, excellent selection, fantastic everything. Will be back if in town again.

This must be what life was like in the Soviet Union? Virginia only allows state run liquor stores so you get high prices, subpar selection, and a total monopoly courtesy of the politicians. They staff is friendly, the store is clean, and the location is convenient if you live in Pentagon/Crystal City but they really need to end this sham and allow private liquor stores.

No complaints. Friendly staff, decent selection. Pricing was a little higher than I’m use to paying but it was just a short walk away from where I was staying so that was a big plus.

Only buying liquor at these ABC stores kills me but the selection’s not bad and anywhere that sells a good rye whiskey is alright in my eyes.

Decent selection of single malt scotch and a wide variety of other alcohol. This being the state of Virginia, these stores are the only ones where you can buy hard liquor. Despite the monopoly, the staff is courteous and efficient. The store is clean and well organized.

It’s your typical package store whit street parking. But the employees are friendly. Hey if he can’t make it to the supermarket then you come here.

This was difficult to find using Google Maps because it said it was in the Buchanan, but really it is not located in the Buchanan, but rather the entrance is located around the corner. It was pretty dismal looking inside and all of the liquor bottles were pretty dusty. The first couple I picked up had a significant layer of dust on them, which makes me wonder how many people are actually purchasing liquor from this store if that much dust builds up on the bottles. Also, the ABC Store doesn’t sell beer and wine which is pretty inconvenient that you can just buy everything in one stop.

It’s a Commonwealth of Virginia ABC(Alcohol Beverage Control) store, so some things can’t be improved unless laws change, but I want to note everything anyway: Pros: –Friendly staff –Well-spaced and pleasantly decorated –Location –They sell mixers Room for improvement: –Prices –Available selection of liquors and mixers –Sale of beer and wine –Hours

If you have any questions about booze then don’t bother asking. The people working here don’t know the difference between a scotch and a bourbon other than the fact that they are in different aisles. Sadly they don’t carry any black sambuca. I’ve been searching all over the D.C. area for the stuff but I just can’t find it. Other than that they’re pretty well stocked.

This Virginia ABC Store(Alcohol Beverage Control) is located on the street level of the Buchanan building on the Rt. 1 side, next to Chilis. It has the usual selection of liquors in the ABC lineup. Bourbons, Canadians, Blendeds, Cognacs, Vodkas, Gins, Liqueurs, Rums, Miniatures, Mixers/Mixes, etc. But is doesn’t sell beer or wine, which in this state is sold at just about any food store or pharmacy or convenience store. Pharmacy? I’ve always believed in the medicinal value of booze! It’s open Monday through Saturday. The next-nearest ABC store is about 5 minutes away on Glebe Road near the Glebe Road Giant Food Store, and that one opens on Sundays at 1PM.
