We contacted Creative after being recommended to them from a neighbor to do siding repair on account of hail damage. In the beginning, the company was very professional and prompt at answering our questions and getting back to us with concerns. Our general contractor was very reassuring which helped us feel very comfortable signing the contract. However, as soon as our contract was signed, it was all down hill from there. Their limited English speaking workers quickly removed our old siding and installed our new siding. Occasionally, my wife would explain to our general contractor that she would find small «short cuts» the workers were doing that looked like poor workmanship. It was shortly after that the workers were giving my wife mean looks and saying things making her feel really uncomfortable being home alone. She recalls one of them saying in a very angry tone, «You are making job difficult!» When she told me this, I called Mike, the owner-​according to him, and told him to send all his workers away from my house immediately! Rather, he showed up to my house, spoke to the Polish and Russian workers and convinced my wife she was safe so they could keep working. Needless to say, they finished their job a few days later. However, as the weather began to heat up, the siding began to buckle horribly. We demanded from Mike to have all the siding removed since it looked terrible with all the waves. We also found nails going through the window casings inside the house (preventing us from opening up our windows). Mike came by the house, inspected the siding himself and sure enough, it wasn’t hung properly. He also verified that our windows now were all destroyed and needed to be replaced. They did as requested and reinstalled the siding much better the second time around. They paid to have the windows replaced as well. Unfortunately for Creative, upon removing the improperly installed siding from the house, they ripped window screens and chipped a lot of our trim paint. So, Creative hired a painter to paint all of our trim. While I give Creative credit for making everything «right» for my wife and I, their worker’s poor workmanship resulted in the biggest headache for us as well as the company. I was absolutely relieved when the entire job was completed. The worst part of it all is that it took over a year to have this job started and completed. They seemingly kept putting us to the side with our complaints; clearly cause they were onto the next job. We would text them and they would text back, «We’ll be there first thing in the morning» or «They’re on their way there now»; only for them to not show up till days later. I would NEVER recommend using this company. It was an absolute horrible experience. Consider finding another company to do your house repairs. As you can already see, their rating speaks for itself. From beginning to end Creative helped us with new siding and Windows for our home. I worked mainly with Scott who was there for me every step of the way. I had a lot of questions and he had the answers I needed.
They helped work with my insurance to make sure I got a fair value. Work was done incredibly well by the contractors. The window guy Henry, was not only talented, but kind and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone, and welcome him in my home anytime.
