The food was excellent. I got the Philly Chicken, and it came with homemade fries. My dad got the Parmesan encrusted sea bass, and it was tender and tasted amazing. I should have gotten that. They brought out bread twice, still warm from the oven. The service was amazing, he gave us plenty of advice on what to get and even switched out the soup once they came out for my mom. It felt like a casual party environment, with soft lighting and booth seats. I liked this place, I’m not from here, but I would definitely come back. I am full!

Went there 3:45pm wed. Hostess(who was sitting at the bar) greeted us and did not ask if we would like dining room or bar seating. She just took us to the bar area. Our bartender/waitress Christa wasn’t overly friendly. Cut & dry. Our soup, salad and steak was very good. However the«country» music was a spoiler. I assume the dining room area would not be playing that music. No Manger in site. No one ever came over to «touch» the tables and ask how eveything was. The place was not busy. This was our first and maybe last time going there. I expected to pay a more at Jameson’s and I did. However overall I was very disappointed. Next time I’ll go to the Jameson’s at Del Web. They get it right.

What a wonderful dinner. Was rather pricey, guess we have come to expect that at a great steakhouse. Thumbs Up!

Ordered steak and shrimp. 25 minutes later wife and I received out meal. Hers was fine but mine was ice cold. Shrimp had grill marks but absolutely room temperature at best. Same with steak. Sent back to heat up… I believe it was microwaved for 1 min, came back same condition except the shrimp were rubbery. Manager came again to follow up… want going to give them a third chance… took meal home and re grilled it myself! Should have sent it back, but didn’t want to cook that evening. Eat here for lunch all the time, great lunch but horrible dinner experience.

Great steaks with sides included in the meal – not a la carte sides like snobby Schaumburg/Chicago steakhouses. Very affordable. The filets are tremendous and they have terrific soups/salads. Burgers are also very good! All around great local place. Been going here for years.

I’ve seen and heard many mixed reviews about Jameson’s, but every time I go there for the occasional nice dinner with my boyfriend or family, the food is spectacular. The manager even told me their cows are grass fed and specially butchered by their own facilities. They always cook my steak the way I ask(medium), the soups are warm and delicious, and the menu has lots of variety. On the pricier side, but I think Jameson’s is worth it. Gets busy VERY quickly, especially peak days and times like Friday and Saturday at dinner time. Make sure to call for a reservation!

Been coming here for years but last night the experience was not what we usually expected. I asked for a steak rare and it came out done and sent it back. The second time the meat was basically raw on the plate. The waiter Oscar gave no apology for this and seemed more concerned on getting us out. Manager offered no apology so it might be some time before we return.

Nah… I didn’t like it. Food is so so. They call it char house. But the meat they served to me was not even cooked right. Price wise I think for this place it’s expensive. Don’t think I would ever come back.

We visited for the first time, early on Saturday afternoon. Had a ribeye and London broil, both very tasty, but abiti chewy, the brocoli soup was the best we ever had, the bread was outstanding. and the Calamari, best ever Our Waitress was cheerful, accomadating and very pleasant and helpful we are seniors and can be a bit critical, but we will definately return

My family and I love Jameson’s! Especially my children. It is our go to family restaurant the food is good, the prices are good and the management is great. Peter is a nice person to deal with! If it was up to my kids we would go every night.

Not bad but not great. The environment was loud, which isn’t terrible. They seated us within ten minutes– Make reservations on the weekends or you will wait at least an hour. The waitress was awesome-attentive and pleasant. The Jameson steak was amazing and the tilapia was a bit too salty. Not a bad meal for the money but nit my first choice.

MEH…5th time here since it opened, food quality is all over the place on each visit, very inconsistent, the senior wait staff has their head in the clouds, overall forgetful, and rude. as is the eagle eye manager that makes you feel rushed while trying to enjoy poorly presented and tasteless food Table bread, yuk no taste Soup, ok depending Salad, old, yellow and very rough Blue cheese dressing, watered down no taste Chopped steak is the safest best, but say no to the blue crusted topping(fried crisco and bread crumbs) This is a poor excuse for what is supposed to be fine dining, a wildfire wannabe at best Reasons why we returned: Hope Convenience Most recent visit: Not looking good for the future!

I think Jameson’s is suffering from a classic case of corporate-owned-atitis. Had a big ol’ family dinner here and although the food was fine, it just seemed to be missing that finer touch of quality in preparation and ingredients. Why serve bland, unseasoned steamed broccoli with your meals when there’s fresh asparagus available, and we can choose that over the broccoli at no extra cost? The asparagus was thick and fresh and green and… who wants just plain old steamed broccoli? Why do they even offer it as a side? I just… don’t get it. I have to imagine they scrape TONS of it into the garbage at this place. I got the peppercorn steak and it was good — too much peppercorn for my liking, but that’s on me, not Jameson’s. I sampled a few of the other dishes at our table and, you know, it was good. Nothing really stood out, though. Plating? I just don’t love the traditional plating at places like this — steak on one part of the plate, a side of potatoes in another and then a pile of steamed broccoli next to it all. It’s just… uninspired to me. I do like that you get a dinner salad and soup with your entrees. Again, no standouts, though. For the prices, I just feel like it’s not… it’s just not… made with passion. Maybe the original dishes when prepared by the executive chef were, but whoever’s being trained in the kitchen to make it… I don’t know, it feels like they’re just punching the clock. Our server was outstanding(Oscar, I believe). Charming, friendly and he had a great sense of humor. Kudos to him. Would I go back? Yeah, if I had a sizable gift card. Spend my own money? Probably not.

Came here with coworkers to have a good steak. The price was good and the quality of meat was good at best. I asked for medium rare and got almost well-done. The sides were very good and the drink service was quick and good. The portions were very generous.

Nice place to come when you want a good meal. the menu offers many different items for all taste buds. I have never been disappointed anytime I have been to any of their restaurants. My meal was good and the service was great. Service is what makes a place.

This was our first time and I am a fan of steakhouses. — I ordered French Onion soup(an upcharge of $ 5.00) and it was good but not great. They did a decent job with bread and melted cheese on top.(4 stars) — Really good bread(4 stars — House salad was Ok but my wife liked it a lot(3.5 stars) — Filet Mignon was a bit overdone but still juicy and flavorful(4 stars) — Baked Potato was excellent(5 stars) — Kids meal was a bargain and my son loved it(5 stars) — Environment was LOUD! This is a jump up from Longhorn Steakhouse but not near Chicago Prime Steakhouse. I would come again.

Normally come here for our anniversary. Usually have good service, but didn’t have such a great experience on a monday night. Our waitress seemed nice, but we felt very rushed(took our plates like right after we got done eating). Thing I’m really upset at, our meals come with a soup and we normally pay to upgrade to french onion with cheese. Our waitress said we couldn’t, just get regular onion soup or we had to pay outright(so basically you’re telling me I have to throw away my included soup). She wouldn’t even talk to a manager to make an exception? I’d even pay $ 3 – 4 to upgrade, at least giving up my included soup would earn me a dollar or two towards a soup I want.
