Never again. Not good– not bad. Food was very so so. Luke warm. Table was stained. Service was fair. No offer to refill my drink. So — never again. Many other places to choose from.

Great chips and salsa. Would like to buy the green salsa by the jar. Excellent margaritas and food! Highly recommended! A pretty large menu. Lots of seafood.

We decided to give this place a try because it said the food was good, even though the service wasn’t. We ordered takeout and my husband got a burrito and I got beef enchiladas. When we got the order home we opened the food and the order was completely wrong. Mine were chicken enchiladas, his had no cheese, lettuce, or tomato but had potato in it? Called the place and brought it back. Said they would re make everything. Drove all the way there and had to wait 20 min to have it remade. Then they made the order wrong for a SECONDTIME. They gave me chicken AGAIN! These people have no idea what they’re doing and we wasted our Friday running back and forth with no food in the end. Save yourself the trip.

Not impressed with what you get for the prices. Maybe it was just an off day, but our meal was not that great for how much we ended up paying. Will not go back unfortunately.

First time ordering from here and I cant believe we have missed this place until now. We got a real mix of items — from the ceviche to chile rellenos, everything was great. We will definitely be ordering again!

OK so I have tentatively been trying this place again because I miss the food and can’t believe consistent bad service would keep the place open. I have been back 2 – 3 times and sooooooo much better service. Very good in some cases so bravo staff. And the food!!! So good it’ll make your bollocks tingle. The carne asada still rules here in my opinion. Thick skirt steak flavored and grilled perfectly plus a pile of cebolittas on side go so good with beer. Also just discovered they make a real decent michelada which is the beer/tomato juice/seasonings and lime thing which is sort of like a fizzy bloody mary. Wil keep going back here.

Threw a dart to meet a friend at a spot that was mutually inconvenient for us both — landed here. Strip mall space with a clean, serviceable interior. The place was devoid of other customers at our midweek, midday lunch. The wait staff was attentive & accessible(again, no one else in the place) and they seem to have a deep and fairly authentic menu. The usual chips & salsa included a creamy verde offering that was exceptional. Our meal choices were quite good(although my guest’s meal was drowning in mole). The refried beans were a bit thin, but that’s a personal preference. Prices seem good. If you use GPS to find them, they’re deep in the strip mall — east off keith.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for awhile, but I’m struggling to find reasons to return that outweigh some of the issues I’ve had here. Thats unfortunate because I really like their food. It’s great. It really is. The customer service, however, is severely lacking at this restaurant. Severely. Lacking. The main server(I think her name is Rosie) seems nice and she’s been helpful several times when a problem has arisen, but the problems that arise are absolutely ridiculous and all in all, patronizing this business may not be worth the hassle. I’ve eaten there in person a couple of times and I’ve ordered delivery numerous times. My experience has been that I’m left at my table without even a full glass of water for extended periods. Dinner takes 2 hours at least from the moment one orders to the moment one receives the check-and that’s with a nearly empty restaurant. I don’t purport to know how to run a restaurant, but I’ve certainly eaten at a few and that certainly isn’t the ideal experience. I’ve also had employees pick up the phone and then simply walk away in the middle of the conversation. Case in point, I had someone take my full order the other evening when I called for a delivery order. In lieu of what appeared to be nothing, this employee abruptly put the phone down with no explanation and after a long wait, Rosie picked up the phone and asked what I wanted to order. I explained that I had already given my order and that it should be right there for her to see. She then told me that the person who picked up the phone wasn’t authorized to take my order. I said well that’s funny, because they did and they have done before when I’ve called and after she took my order, this employee just walked away from the phone and left me waiting. I was offered an explanation that didn’t satisfy or particularly make sense to me and no apology to boot. This, in light of the fact that when the employee that originally answered the phone that night came to my house to deliver my food a few nights prior with no change in hand and tried to convince me to give her a $ 20 tip. I am not a wealthy person. I am a small business owner. Ordering dinner is a treat for me. I’m not exactly making it rain with wads of cash. I’ve always left a fair tip in the past, but I absolutely will not leave someone a $ 20 tip. The attitude I was met with was a tad sneaky that night and didn’t seem on the up and up(if you’re going out on a delivery run and you know your only customer is paying cash, you bring change. Period.), so I just called the restaurant and paid by credit card that night, but between that and the level of disorganization I witness when I call and try to place an order and when I come in to the restaurant, it’s not worth it to me to continue patronizing this restaurant. As I said, that’s a real shame, because the food is excellent. I really hope that Las Cazuelitas will work on their customer service as time goes by. I’d love to revisit this business in future. Best of luck on that, because I do very much want to be a customer!

I had a beef burrito and horchata and it was so good. The hot sauces were not just spicy but flavorful too. Horchata was tastiest I’ve ever had! I took my order to go. Very friendly staff. Strongly recommend!

We just had our first meal at Las Cazuelitas and it was NOT a disappointment! The food and drinks are very good. The food is very fresh and prepared very well. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. The food is very authentic Mexican. The drinks are reasonable and they put alcohol in them! The service is very friendly! We will be back for more on a regular basis.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. My husband loves their steak burrito — especially since they lightly toast it. It creates a nice taste and crunch. I usually opt for steak tacos dinner — really can’t go wrong with those. I love that the meat is nicely seasoned and generously topped with fresh onion and cilantro.

Excellent spice in the chorizo and delicious chile relleno burrito. It looks like a good place to party later when karaōke gets going.

Ordered nachos and a couple sandwiches delivery through grub hub. Kid you not, took 2 hours to get our food. Everytime we called«Oh it’s on the way». 3rd time we called, «Oh bad accident on randall, GPS says 2 minutes». That 2 minutes turned into 15 minutes. The driver apologized, said my next delivery would be free. She says they’ve had issues with receiving grub hub orders. If that’s the case, you should probably remove yourself from their list. The torta I had was strange. Ham, pork, guacamole. ok good, then it got weird with the egg and those little vienna sausages you get from the can? That plus the bread wasn’t crisp, it was very soft so the sandwich just sort of disintegrated in your hand as you ate it. The nachos were just ok, and I don’t think it’s just because it was cold.

We are local and ‘used’ to eat here A LOT. The food is typically delicious, but the service is horrible. We ordered for delivery on a previous visit and EVERY item in the order was completely wrong. It was like the wrong order was delivered to us. Since we were in a hurry we did not have time to call and get it fixed(since our last 3 – 4 orders were also wrong and had to have re-deliveries). Ironically, about 2 hours after our order was delivered, we received a call from a woman(the manager per her words) apologizing saying she knew our order was wrong and that our next order was on the house. We placed our next order about 2 weeks later and I let the restaurant know that the manager had said the order would be on the house… they said the manager was not in and they could not honor it and had already charged my card and the order was ‘already on the way’…how very convenient! I called the restaurant today and explained this situation asking for the manager, this time it is a man and I asked if they have multiple managers because the person that had called me was a woman, and he stated he was the kitchen manager and the owner was a woman. I am assuming that the owner was the person I talked to, but the manager said unless I had a receipt he could not honor the promise they made to me. I asked how I would have a receipt if it was a delivery??? He just kept saying he was sorry there was nothing he could do. Your business just lost a loyal customer based on all the ordering errors and inconsistency in service and how you handle customer complaints! What a shame!

This place is amazing! I’ve lived in Lake In The Hills for almost 20 years and I cannot believe we just found this place! The food is amazing, drinks are strong and the people are very nice! The chicken mole enchiladas are awesome! Any seafood that you get in fresh and Delish!

The place was a hot mess. We decided to try it since it had 4 stars on Unilocal.Well this was a disappointment. Aside from the dirty glass doors right as you walk in, aside from the chip crumbs all over the carpet floor, aside from the dirty table we got sat on, aside from the salsa all over the menus, aside from the waitress hollering across the place to the kitchen people… Aside from all that we gave it a try and guess what??? The food was disgusting. I asked the waitress which was Hispanic what she recommended and I went with her suggestion. Well, maybe she was hispanic but has never tried Mexican food. The enchiladas suizas she recommended tasted like ravioli sauce. The beans and rice were dry and FLAVORLESS. Safe to say we won’t ever be going back there again. My husband said the only thing he liked is the water. We couldn’t pay fast enough and leave.

¡Este lugar fue increíble!(Spanish for«This place was incredible!») Everything we has was delicious, from the homemade chips that we noshed on(try the green salsa in the squeeze bottle!, the margarita(which was huge and oh so tasty!) When they hit those things our of the park, we had high hopes for the rest of the meal and we are happy to say that they met all of our high hopes, and then some! My wife and I were fighting over the final bits of the shrimp ceviche appetizer, the tamales they have are great, fresh and the masa is not dried out, and I had the flautas which were amazing and not greasy. We will definitely be back!!!

This place is amazing! It’s a little hidden gem in a strip mall. I grew up the area and have never heard anyone talk about this place. Well, that most definitely needs to change! We grocery shop frequently at Joseph’s Marketplace and have always wanted to tryout LASCAZ(easier for me say)…so, we finally did. It was a great decision. I suppose it is a telling sign when a mexican restaurant is quality and the real deal when nearly every table is filled with hispanics… that was the case on the Friday night that we went. I consider this place to be an «upscale» mexican restaurant compared to the taquerias that we usually choose to dine at. The food was top notch and so was the service(we had a guy and he was very helpful in navigating the extensive menu options). He informed us that they specialize in seafood dishes, so I had to try the Ceviche… it was awesome and will keep me coming back! My favorite taco was the Al Pastor… pineapple and all! We had Horchata(very good), but didn’t get around to sampling any of the alcoholic drinks(we were with the little ones), so that will be on the next trip. They have lots of flat screens TVs, so if you want to catch a game(soccer was on) you’ll have many tables with a view.
