Renee’s Of Ridgefield

Our wedding venue has annual bridal shows, and highly recommended Renee’s. We met with her at one of the shows, and we really liked some of the ideas she offered. We needed centerpieces and didn’t have a large budget for them. Renee was able to work within our budget and still make our centerpieces look fantastic. She knew which flowers would look good, but not break the bank.
I was extremely impressed with how well they turned out, and all of our guest loved them too!

After posting my last comment and seeing the picture, Renee’s called me. She understood my disappointment and seemed disappointed as well. She apologized and offered a refund for the bouquet (she also offered to resend the flowers but I thought it was unnecessary). I was very pleased by her consideration and professionalism. I think it was just a miscommunication between a new employee that a lil more training couldn’t fix. Thank you Renee’s.

Went to my local florist to have flowers sent for an out-​of-​town funeral. They choose Renee’s of Ridgefield and called them directly since I wanted a special decorative element in the arrangement. I request three green plants and some fresh flowers. What a disappointment when I saw what Renee’s had put together. Yes it was the three green plants and the requested decorative element in a basket, but that was it. Not even a ribbon.
When I got back home I informed my local florist of this and she called and spoke to Renee directly and let her know of my disappointment, it was then that Renee said that if you want ribbon you have to request it – reallly???
My florist, who I respect and admire, crossed Renee’s of Ridgefield out of her telefloral book.
Wish I would have known that others also had problems with this florist – would have had my florist do the arrangement and drove it myself to the funeral, could have saved the delivery and wire charges and had an arrangement was was beautiful.

I spoke with Renee directly in order to place my order of two items. I called one week ahead of delivery date, and actually set the delivery day three days before Mother’s Day, in order to ensure a quality product for my mother. I discussed with Renee that I liked the Seaside bouquet, but would like to make the addition of some purple iris, to give the bouquet some height and to honor my mother and her favorite flower. Renee said «no problem, but it will be an extra charge», which I was willing to pay. Secondly, I asked if the Sunset Beauty Wrist corsage could be altered to make it a pin-​on corsage for my mother to wear to church. Once again, «no problem, duly noted».
I happened to be visiting my mom over that weekend, so I saw first hand, that the flowers were not delivered until very late on Friday, and the delivery man got lost and had to call. More disappointing: NO IRIS added to the bouquet, as previously agreed upon, NOR wristlet changed to be a pin-​on corsage. Being a wristlet, with a hard plastic backing, made it virtually impossible to pin on my Mom’s dress, so my brother ended up running out to the grocery store to get her a corsage:(
When I returned home, I tried three times to get ahold of Renee, leaving two detailed messages. Finally, I took to pen and paper, and wrote a detailed note to Renee, telling her of my dissatisfaction with both items, and asking for the possibility of a credit due to the iris I paid for and did not get, and I would be willing to give her a second try, as the flowers themselves are very high quality.
NO REPSONSE.
SO disappointed in their lack of customer service and followup. I have 10 family members who order flowers at least 6 times per year to my mother and father, and, of course, I have shared this with all of them, so we won’t be using Renee’s again.

This place is awesome. Renee’s did my wedding and we still are told how amazing the flowers were. We sat down with Renee several times and she was so helpful in creating our dream wedding. If you go with anyone else you will be wasting your time.

What a huge disappointment! I sent an arrangement to my wife and was extremely upset with what was delivered. Too small of an arrangement for the $ 65 they charged me, and they barely lasted the weekend before wilting and turning.
I think from now on I’ll save my money and buy my flowers at Jewel or Sam’s Club instead of this place. Too bad really, as the former owners took great pride in their product.
