The Other Side

I would never step foot in this venue ever again! We payed money to rent the place out, to throw a hip hop show. We had done this three months prior and we did fine. This time around, one of the people that works there shit the show down two acts into a twelve act show, because he didn’t like the content of the music! (Smoking and drinking) While not even one person used any drugs or alcohol on the premises whatsoever, just singing about it got the entire show shut down. When I tried to speak calmly with the employee that shut us down for a completely trivial reason, I was met with arrogance, hostility, and was condescended severely while I was simply trying to conduct myself on a business like manner, setting as we paid to rent the venue. We were never warned prior to the show that we couldn’t perform music about smoking and drinking, granted we knew it was a «dry» venue. However, the song in question, had been performed three months ago along with many other songs of the same nature. When I bright this up to one of the employees,(sara) who was at the last show the entire time, responded with «I don’t remember.» Basically just saving face, and denying any accountability to help us continue with our show over the tyrant-​like employee that was sitting us down over A SONG! If you were ever thinning of going to this venue, or renting it out, I would advise that you just don’t. They are completely unprofessional and I have half a mind to sue, but it wouldn’t be worth the time or money. I wish I could give –10 stars but they make you grade with at least one star. This place deserves no stars.

Great location, great people, great music. Simple as that.
