A must if you’re anywhere in citrus county. Great beer and wine and great service too

We loved this place and it’s definitely a hidden gem. It almost has a café ambience, warm and inviting, and the wine and beer were good. The wife makes the wine and the husband makes the beer. I had no idea what to expect but they were highly recommended on trip advisor. They source the grapes but make the wine as well as the beer in house. We spent a good bit of time conversing with the owners who are very nice. I highly recommend this intimate spot to grab drinks.

Five stars because this was just right for what we were looking for. We didn’t eat but tasted beer and wine. Our little waitress goofed on one wine so ga e it to use as complimentary and gave us a little extra of the wine we’d requested. This winery has lots of fun wines to try. They also have an interesting variety of beers to try. We had a flight of beer, I really enjoyed the brew berry beer, we bought that for home, also liked the Holiday Hooch wine, bought 2 bottles. The atmosphere here is small and cozy, we liked it a lot. Guess we’ll come back and try some more — very fun!

My husband and I had a terrific experience at Copp Winery. We visited around lunch time on a Sunday and it was pretty slow, but the service, food, and drinks were great. We tasted the entire red menu, did a flight of beer, and enjoyed 2 soft pretzels with buffalo dip and the cheese plate. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer and wine. Prices were extremely reasonable for a winery. For the Reds, bottles ranged from around $ 14-$ 25 and the small plates were between $ 3-$ 6. This was definitely one of our favorite places when visiting Crystal River!

This precious I lil gem is located off a side road in Crystal River. I was recently up there visiting family and came her for some after dinner drinks. This place sure is cute. With the option for outside seating, the inside although small very cozy with great personality. The Chardonnay I had was great and the cheese platter special had some of my favorite options. I’d recommend this place for any happy hour, or after a date night.

This place has a lot of potential. I think in a few years it will be be amazing. There is a wide variety of beer, stout ale, blueberry, apricot, one brewed with grits, a sour, and several others. They are good, but only the 1821 and the German Chocolate Cake were really refined in my opinion. The wines were similar, good, but not great. The prices for the various wines were spot on. Very affordable. They know what they are offering. Their cheese plate was amazing, but for $ 3.50 more you get something like Hormel pepperoni slices. They should really offer a quality meat. Likewise they serve dried cranberries with the cheese that is clearly from the pre made salad section at the local supermarket. The place is comfortable.

Small location which feels like you are sitting in somone’s living room. Beer samples were good and I especially liked the Mutiny. Hostess needs to work on her social skills.

I sampled the beer and she sampled the wine. Both were good enough that we each picked something up for later. It was a Friday night and they quickly got busy but we were not forgotten. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. It seems to be a nice place for a quaint get together

My beer loving, home brewing boyfriend comes to visit me here in the cosmopolitan city of Crystal River from Chicago every 2 months, and he never misses a visit to this brewery. Granted, it’s the only one we have, but that’s beside the point. We fill our growler for our to go beer and imbibe our tasty flights at the brewery. The owners, a husband and wife team, are quite friendly, always taking the time to chat beer and beer events w us. It’s a good mix of wine lovers and beer snobs there on any given day… And no crazy fights have ensued between them so far. I only hope they will keep staying in business so I have somewhere relaxing to go after a crazy wait at the post office.

Went to check out the brewery, in Crystal River of all places. They had some pretty good beers, with many of them deceptively strong(7−12% ABV). Those big boys didn’t taste it though, each one went down smooth. The«Southern Grit» made with corn was interesting. None of them were amazing stand-out, but they were all good. Hung out outside on the side porch, which definitely needs to be cleaned more often. Cigarette and cigar butts, stagnant water, dead roaches, and other various gross things. Clean that area up and the place would be so much better.

Great winery and brewery. The brewer and wine maker are married and work the tasting room together. I’m a beer guy, so I love being able to talk to the brewer and get his thoughts on his beer making. Beer was outstanding and the snacks were excellent!

Considering the location, I’m surprised anyone ever found it. It’s located in a cute little old house off the main drag which has been tastefully redone and decorated. The night we were there it looked like small groups of professional people were meeting after work. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. There are many site-made wines and a handful of beers from which to choose but not much to eat, so you may want to plan accordingly. The prices were appropriate, the service was great. My one suggestion would be if they would acquire more comfortable chairs – a small complaint. Plan to go back soon.

What a great little winery! The tasting room is gorgeous, lots of room to sit, taste and even order a cheese platter or some other little things. And the wine is good, because she imports the grapes from all over. They have 10 white wines, 9 sweet wines, two dessert wines, and 19 reds. Grapes are flown in from across the US, Italy, France, Australia and beyond. They also have a few beers including the«True Grit» which is a nice pale ale made with corn grits. We brought home a bottle of the Sugar Mill for the night(an easy drinking white), but we also really liked the PG-21, Summer White, Blue Marlin(a blueberry Shiraz!), Howl at the Moon and the beefy Super Tuskin. You basically get three free tastes, and then you can get 3 for $ 3. They don’t do beer tastings(they only just started serving their own beer two weeks ago) but you can get a pint glass for $ 4(maybe nice if you’re bringing the beer-drinking hubby along?) Donna Copp the winemaker was a great host and gave us all kinds of places to eat and see during our stay in the area. I’d definitely recommend stopping in.
