This is more of a wine shop than a wine bar, in my opinion. You can buy wine and drink it on site, but a corking fee is charged, and I wasn’t really too fond of that. Everything else was fine during our visit. The store has an overwhelming selection, making it hard to zero in on one particular style. Luckily for us, a new bottle that had just arrived was suggested, so we went for it. Couldn’t tell you what it was because after we cashed it, the fancy name was long erased from our feeble wine minds. It was a Chardonnay, that much I do recall. Get on their mailing list! They were having a wine tasting all the way in the back, in what should be the main bar, IMHO. It was dark, candle-lit and sexy back there. Way better atmospheric levels back there than up front. All of the staff was pretty friendly, except one really young girl. She barley looked old enough to work in the state of Florida, and her customer service skills have not yet been honed. Overall though, really great place with good conversations. I saw a few beers available as well, but didn’t inquire about selection. They also have some cigars. Extremely limited selection, but decent smokes in a pinch. Side note: Their main store is in Clearwater, just north of Belleair.

A cute little wine shop/bar in what would be considered downtown Crystal river. It was a Friday night around 7pm when we walked in after having dinner a couple doors down. There were quite a few locals, and the women working knew everyone. We walked around for no longer than 45 seconds before being greeted. She asked if she could help us find something. I’m a sweet, bubbly wine fan, so I asked for Rosa Regale. She didn’t know of it, nor did the other women,(I believe) the owner did though. She doesn’t carry that specific one, And was out of what she considered similar, but she offered us samples of something else. We were offered 3 different samples before we decided to buy a bottle, and never felt rushed. The atmosphere was laid back. The bottle we bought was only 9 dollars, which made us extremely happy. My bottles of wine always tend to be in the high teens, low twenties. It was delisious too, the name I can not remember thoug.sadly. They also over a menu with hummus, cheese plates and other light snacks. They open early incase you need to start the day off with something stronger than coffee, but close early.
