Great place. We order and have them ship cheese as gifts for family and friends all over the USA.

Holy cheese wiz! After a couple of free samples my mouth is still jumping for joy. With over 400 cheeses on site and a plethora of sauces, jams and spices, this place rocks.

A first time visit today for my wife and I, who were introduced to the wonderful cheese curds sold here by some friends who had stopped here previously. They have everything imaginable inside when it comes to cheese, but they also sell a wide variety of candies, fudge, honey, peanut butter, and even maple products. We picked up some cheese curds, maple candy, maple sugar, and drinks to help us on our trip. Aside from the poor parking area out front, I can’t find any faults with this place, even if it is supposed to be some kind of tourist trap. This is a place I know we will be back to!

A must stop when passing through. Several variations of samples were available. Awesome selection of cheeses from all over. They have cheeses for every taste. We travel fromOhio to see family and will be stopping here from now on when coming to New York.

BESTCHEESEEVER. The bacon cheddar spread is to die for. My father-in-law sends out care packages of their delicious products. Cheese curd? YES. And it’s amazing. Got the cutest little kissing cow pepper and salt shakers from them, they have tons of delicious foods as well as endearing little kitchenware bits. Can’t wait to come back to Cuba and do another shopping spree! Yum!

If you’re a cheese lover you MUST stop here. This is always a stop for the family on the way to upstate NY! Looking for a special cheese you love? Or maybe looking for something new to try? Pretty sure this place carries it and more! I always leave with the cheese curds, but it’s hard not to drool over all the other options. On the plus side, you can sample a handful of different cheeses when you are there! Mmmm… cheese…

Horrible experience. This is billed as a tourist destination and the people working in The shop(4 today) don’t even speak to customers. My husband and I were the only customers, we’re never greeted, never asked if we needed any help, and when we did want to make a ourchase, we had to wait for one of them to turn around. I will never go back and would not recommend the stop.

SO you see a billboard for cheese on I86. You not really close to anything after the Casino heading East. There’s this small buildling from outside the store and the parking lot in front of store was packed. They have two cows to pose for pictures with outside. The first thing inside the door are free samples. This is a very good thing! There were about four cheeses with rice crackers, all were really good. They didn’t put out the cheap stuff either, the blue cheese was $ 18/pound. There are hundreds of cheeses here, and an hour of shopping at least. Definetely try the THREE Year old Cheddar(it has a born on date). This is to die for cheese, with cream aftertaste and for $ 8.99/lb a steal. Longhorn swiss, another awesome choice. How about havarti munster triple cream cheese?! Dear god I found heaven, well as close as you can get in NY!

This place is a «must stop» anytime we come home to visit family… Their selection of cheeses is unparalleled, and they have some real gems we can’t find anywhere else. My current favorite is «swiss on rye,» which tastes exactly as it sounds. Delish!

This cheese shop is located in middle of nowhere, but it was packed when I went there which made me excited since I don’t normally come across any stores that is full of people in this area. It’s really a heaven for cheese lovers. They have free samples of cheese, crackers and candy for people to try their unique selections of products. I tried cheese curd and it was pretty good, moist and it’s texture reminds me of soft gummy. It was so good that my husband I finished it all on our way home. It comes in various sizes and clearly we need to buy a bigger size. I also bought cream cheese, maple nut goat cheese and cheese cake. They are all good. I will definitely go back to try their different flavor of cheese.

Every time that I’ve made a trip home to CattCo in the past, I would drive all over creation looking for cheese curd. Sometimes the grocery stores have it, but it’s usually dried out and starting to get a funky sour taste. The Amish store has it, but I can never figure out when that place is open, and when they are open they always seem to be sold out of plain and only have wacky flavors like dill(plus the smell of that place makes me want to yack). You may have tried«Helluva Good» brand cheese curd, but to me it always tastes like sad little pieces of dry, sour mozzarella. It doesn’t really resemble cheese curd at all. Real cheese curd is chunky, squeaky, slightly rubbery, moist and salty/sweet. My advice is to go directly to Cuba Cheese Shoppe(preferably after you’ve enjoyed a meal at Sprague’s Maple Farm ). They ALWAYS have it and it usually doesn’t even get a chance to set out long enough to get cold. Have a taste of real cheese curd and you’ll eat a pound in one sitting. I guarantee you won’t poop for a week! In addition to cheese curd, they have tons of other kinds of cheese that you won’t find anywhere else in the area plus dried meats, candies and other food items including Angelica salt rising bread(promise me that you’ll get some, because it makes out-of-this-world toast). They also have kitchen gadgets and other mostly food related gifts. I found my garlic zoom here; hands down my favorite kitchen gadget of all time.

Cuba Cheese Shop is about 5 hours from New York or Philadelphia, but they have some of the best domestic and international cheeses! My dad likes to go here and get Extra Sharp New York Cheddar, Stilton, horseradish cheese, goat cheese, and cheese curds. If you’re looking for something fun to do to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life head out to upstate New York and take in the nature!
