The lines are endless! I feel like I’m going through Cuban Customs! Besides the painful lines, their machinery (Registers) are from the 90’s very slow and incapable of easy check out. The staff are very friendly, especially an ex-​employee with the name that starts with a «D», she’s very attractive and highly addictive. She helped me out in the Home department, she ASSisted me in finding awesome prices. She was a great asset to kmart. Unfortunately, she left the store :/.

As rugged as this place is the least they could have is good custumer service at the customer service station, which is ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ here because there are two lines just hope you dont get the girl w the glasses name starts with M. She will not help you out at all she acts like she knows but won’t help u out at all. To make it short wanted to return a tent the store was out of stock so (M) just pretty much said no you have to call the 800 number and wait 3 months to get your money. Didnt want to waste my time with a customer service rep that doesnt want to help a customer override her talk to manager which resolved the problem immediately giving various opinions that were not offered by the customer service rep with the glasses name starts w Mi i think she was even lead person or superv

This review is only to bring attention regarding the cash registers. there are always two registers open when there are a total of 10. Lines are always long and the cashiers are super slow, and besides all the questions they ask you at the register makes everything even slower. This is why I rarely come here. Kmart please upgrade your registers. I really doubt Kmart is making around the same profit that Walmart is.

one star for being trashy when i walked in i felt like i was walking into a dark alley where i would be mugged. i ordered a coffee maker online to go pick it up at around 10 am, 4 pm and still no email/​text to informing me my order was ready so i head out to the store to go get that shit myself, the price from instore was different from online so fuck you for that and not taking 2 minutes out of some employees PAID time to get the coffee maker and telling me my order was ready.

It’s always dirty. And I agree when people say that the girls working here need to be a lot more professional and acknowledge the customer more. It looks very bad from their part when they’re constantly gossiping. I avoid this place as much as possible.

The girls and management need to act more professional always talking to themselves and when You ask a question they seem soo bothered. The eye rolling is to the max in this place. They need way better customer service.

Wooowww this place is just horrible the girls in the register kept talking to each other and on their phone I wonder who is the manager and if there’s a number I can call to report the manager isn’t doing her job and should fire the cashiers

The Auto Center is the best. The manager Bill personally helped me. He had me in and out of there in no time. I would highly recommend this Auto Center.

Great customer service but the outside of the store is a little durty. The store has what I need so I come here when I have to.

The entrance of the building is full of trash, the trash cans are overflowing and the cart area is full of abandon car seats and strollers, not to mention MORE TRASH. After we entered the store we couldn’t find anyone to help us load our cart with a big pool, nevertheless answer any questions we had. After loading the pool to the cart and proceeding to the check out, there was only one cashier open with at least 10 people in line. There were two other associates standing at the customer service area chatting about the length of the line but not doing anything about it. There was also a personal lunch in the drink cooler. During a checkout there an associate complaining about a customer to the cashier who was ringing me up. Lastly, I did not appreciate the cashier reaching over and selecting my choices at the pin pad.

I have been coming to this location since I was a youngster. I come here once in a great while now that I’m an adult and I always get great customer service. Lines may be long at times but I’m patient.
I get my Christmas tree decorations here every December. But yesterday I came here to get beach towels for some gift baskets im doing. All three were $ 13ish! I will continue to come!

Came here looking for some curtains. This place is so packed with stuff that they even add displays and racks in the middle of aisles so it’s hard to push a shopping cart around. Don’t come here much unless the wife needs something from here.

This Kmart is old and needs to close its doors. So glad to have target AND walmart as a nearby option. Please close Kmart. Waste of space.

went here today and found out you need to sigh a club card for savings or get it at reg price, but the club is free. its very cheap here to shop .like the prices.

I placed my order online, drove down, found parking fast. arrived at the store paid for my item and was out of there in a matter of minutes. There were lots of cashiers available, very short lines. I was super pleased. The lady at customer service that rang me up was nice and pleasant.
I couldn’t ask for more!

This place sucks!!! The cashiers have to just get their GED Certificate yesterday. The line are long and no one cares.

Omg this place is a pig stall! It’s so disorganized, dirty, and some of the employees aren’t very helpful especially the managerial employees. Man this place just makes me squirm when I come here. I love that is does have some variety and some pretty nice inventory but you overlook that by the look of this place.
Clean this place up! It’s costing you guys potential sales and customers just because you wont invest in making your stores look modern, decent, organized, and clean.
You guys have great clothing for kids and great electronics. But that’s it. You need to improve the décor and would it kill you to have everything nicely sorted out?
Oh and on another note this shopping center screams for security guards on all four entrances. It’s been 2, if not more, occassions that I have been harassed by creepy men! Let me explain my experience, that way women can be a bit more careful.
#1 situation happened about 2 christmas seasons ago. I came in here around 7pm to purchase emergency wipes (since I didn’t go purchase them at Sams) I had to come here. Well I had a random illegal Mexican following me. I had a feeling someone was following me so I turned around and noticed a man walking the same way I was. I figured he must have been walking to his car. So I proceed on when I get that eerie feeling again, I turn around and this guy is still walking behind me. So at this point I get a really bad feeling and as soon as I turn the corner to my car, I rapidly placed my items in the back of my car. As I was getting in the drivers seat, he pops out. He begins asking me if I needed my cart anymore? Seriously, you walked all the way over here for a cart? I replied no, he kept trying to stall me asking me weird half assed questions. I guess he felt that I wasnt buying it when he says to me «i don’t want you to be afraid, I work here, I just come to pick the carts up» I said ok and got inside my car. I noticed he signaled off a car and walked away, without the cart! Mind you, he wasn’t wearing any employee uniform or tag. I was just grateful that I didn’t have my 2 kids with me.
#2 situation, I had my 2 year old baby girl with me. This happened a couple weeks ago. I went in to purchase a weight scale. And I get stoped by an 80+ old man. Mind you this is during the middle of the day. He begins speaking to me amicably & I respond the same way. I figure what a cute old man, he reminds me of my grandpa. When I realize he was hitting on me! It was disgusting. I decide, its time to go. Right when I was placing my baby in her car seat, a «security guard» comes over in his bike. I’m thinking thank God, someone to get this old perverted man off of my case. He asks me if everything’s alright. I kind of gesture to him and try to let him know that I’m not comfortable. Now this is where it gets weird, I’m walking to the drivers seat when I hear the old man question the security guard, why he was taking down my cars liscense plate? the security guard gets nervous, panics, minds it off and replies, no I wasn’t doing anything. But I had seen him doing that as well…
anyway what I’m trying to get at, is never ever go alone ladies, unless you have a man to beat up the weirdos and perverts at this shopping place. Next time, if I ever decide to come here again, I’m complaining to the manager and supervisor here. This is unacceptable behavior. A customer goes to shop to have an enjoyable experience, not a traumatic one. Just Be safe!

Long lines, crappy slow cashiers that don’t seem to know what they are doing. And god forbid they open a new checkout lane, instead of grabbing the first person in the other line and keeping it organized it turns into a free for all of people running to the other lane.
Semi tidy store although you can NEVER find someone if you need help

This store has a nice selection of off brand essentials and even some Pepsi from Mexico. The store has a very compressed configuration, which may make it difficult if you are shopping with children or with more than one other person. The prices are not as competitive, but you pay for the convenience of this being the only store around here with essentials and electronics. The lighting is somewhat dim, and the shelves are dusty.
Don’t let the rows of shopping carts fool you at the front of the store, the first two are tied down /​locked and you would need to get a cart when someone is done with it, or carry stuff by hand.
This visit makes it worth it if you need an oil change or brake service for your automobile through Cudahy Auto Center next door.

I work nearby and went here today during my lunch break. Its one of the last few K Marts around, its not a bad store and prices are about 20% cheaper than most other targets and k marts, You should check it out if you are in the area.
However, its a very rough area, so I am knocking it down 2 stars because its not the serene suburbia like the OC, you are a few blocks away from Watts, need I say more?
