If you’re in the market for a big appliance like a washing machine, you generally fall into one of two categories. Maybe you’re the type who is planning ahead, remodeling, you’ve got the luxury of shopping around and taking your time and you want brand new and looking sharp. Then you’re not interested in this ugly duckling warehouse. If you’re in the other category, you find you suddenly need something like a washing machine, and the situation is a little unplanned, then you may have already found that prices for new fluctuate quite a bit at the big sellers, Sears, Best Buy, other furniture and appliance stores. Maybe you’re like me and kicking yourself for not taking advantage of the four or five times a year when prices plummet for holiday sales, but that’s not when I was thinking I would need a washing machine. Then there’s this place, where a motley assortment of new but blemished appliances can be had almost immediately for 30 to 50% off original sticker price because there’s a dent, sometimes a pretty unslightly dent. Their stock rotates weekly, and the sales people are informed, helpful and not pushy. Be forewarned that this is not an attractive showroom, but the prices reflect the low overhead. Plenty of parking in their lot. Bring a tape measure, you want to make sure it will fit through your door.

Great selection that change depending on what Sears sends to them or what is scratched and dented on the main floor. I recently purchased a duplex and have been updated various appliances so this has been almost like a second home. This location is in a little older strip mall that they share with KMart and the front sign could use some work since the curb appeal isn’t too nice yet the store gets the job done. If you’re looking for discounted appliances this is your place. They either get older models from Sears, new in box items that are marked down just for them, or scratch and dent floor models that are priced differently. They even discount various models based on how long they’ve been in the store so you may see the same item for less since it has been in the store for a week longer. The delivery charge is nominal when buying appliances($ 70) and the staff here is helpful. Walking in, you will see rows and rows of appliances yet one of the associates can certainly narrow you in on your search. They run promotions all of the time so they will point you to some of those yet if you’re specifically looking for an item they will hunt it down in this location or the other location for you. Beware that all sales are final since it is a scratch and dent/outlet place so make sure you have your measurements correct before pulling the trigger. They do carry high-end items as well yet this is a no-frills showroom that gets down to the point of seeing quantity over having it set into pre-fabbed fake kitchens to see what it looks like. They have a customer for life out of my.
