My favorite place to go in Cullman. The food is always cooked to perfection whether you order chicken, ribs or catfish the best in town. Service is super, the staff is very friendly and there for you!

Not child friendly… My husband, son and I stopped in to grab dinner around 6:45/7:00 one Friday night and decided to leave based on the atmosphere. We knew it was a favorite hangout for many and figured it being relatively early we would be ok… I was wrong! We did return around lunch time a few weeks later and it was much better, the food is good but you have to walk to the back of the restaurant and stand in line to order at a window. Restaurant is very small.

Called and ask what time they closed and I
was told 3 pm. 45 minutes later at 2:30 I show up and they’re closed. I called and was told the manager had something to come up. This is the second time it has happened. I will not be back. Apparently they need to fire every one and start over.

Moe’s is one of my favorite places in town. The food is fantastic the atmosphere is fun and the patio is top. My only complaint and its a huge one is you don’t have a server. You order as a window. That’s ok but if you are drinking you have to go fight your way to the bar to order one every time you want a drink.

Tried the combo with pulled pork and catfish with mac-​n-​cheese and gumbo as sides (about $ 11). The pork was tender and tasty, but not a fan of the vinegar based bbq sauce. Both the catfish and gumbo were excellent — although, a little on the salty side. Mac-​n-​cheese was pretty basic, but the cornbread was a tasty treat! Loved the atmosphere with the exposed brick, wood tables, and sheet metal. Super friendly — just head on to the back and order off the big menu.

Like this place a lot. Their fried grits were amazing and their fried green tomatoes were good. I had their smoked turkey and chicken. Was really good.
