As E. Davis Street gets more and more occupied with stores along the full length of the street all the way to the Train Depot, old school Culpeperites may miss this little gem that has quietly established itself. More and more, we look for local foods and products and this is a true Farm-to-Table Family business. On my first visit, I only tried out the baked goods and found my new favorite breads. No more trying to find an «organic» whole wheat bread; Moving Meadows has some lovely varieties, like the cranberry orange wheat. They have the grain wheel on-sight and you can watch the process of bread-making from start-to-finish. My next visit will cover their own farm natural meats. Buy Fresh, Buy Local is truly the slogan to follow on this journey down E. Davis. Enjoy what you find here!

What a fantastic find. ?.. was strolling though culpeper, as I do regularly, I saw a sigh that there were cinnamon rolls in a shop I hadn’t noticed. Going inside was truely a treat… a wagon with loaves of fresh bread, counter eith bread for samples, coolers full of farm fresh meat and eggs. I spoke to the gentleman there who was the owner of this family run business, his wife was there as eere 2 daughters making granola behinh the counter(kinda reminded me of an old time candy/fudge shope with the preparing going on beforevyour eyes. Felt magical… will definatly go again

We walked in and my legs almost gave out, the smell was that amazing. We talked with Wally, one of the owners, and he explained that they mill their own flour on site and feed their animals only grass — no grain — on a farm about 5 miles outside of Culpeper. Their breads are delicious — the wheat sourdough is especially tasty. Definitely worth a stop and most certainly worth supporting. Good, real food and wonderful owners. Also, did I mention how amazing it smells inside?!?
