My mother was in town visiting and wanted flowers to give to my daughter after her recital. I told her to go there since it was close to our home. The man was rude, quick to answer and very short with my mother. I am pretty sure he over charged her for a small simple bouquet. S he would of paid half the price of that bouquet if she was in Michigan. When she went in the next day to pick it up the bouquet was not even made. We will never be going her for flowers and I will not recommend anyone else to go her. I would of refunded her her money and made the bouquet the best she ever had seen. She paid $ 36 for some tiny roses and a few carnations.

Randy has never let me down. I have used this florist for several years now. They are great to work with. I recently ordered a dozen roses for my wife’s birthday, when the flowers didn’t last they were promptly replaced — at Randy’s suggestion. I called to let him know that I thought he had a problem with his supplier, even stated I wasn’t looking for a refund or replacement. He insisted on replacing them. That kind of treatment has earned even greater respect from this customer. More local businesses could learn from this professional.

I came into the store looking for flowers because my 23 month old son had been trying to smell every flower(mostly fake) that he’s come across in the past two weeks. Nothing outside our house really gives off a smell, and of course fake flowers don’t either… so we set out to a florist to find flowers that smell so my little boy could actually see flowers smell good! I told the owner about my predicament, and let him know I wasn’t looking necessarily for an arrangement or something that might last long(as my son will probably ruin them wanting to hold them or shoving them in his nose). The owner was very happy to take the time to find some nice smelling flowers for my toddler, and charged me a very minimal price. He was polite, kind, helpful, and went above and beyond. The store has a beautiful array of décor for everyday or staging. The only thing that was missing, and I suspect it is just due to supply and demand issues because there is no holiday near, and it would be expensive and wasteful to do everyday, but the front storage fridge did not have a variety of loose flowers to tempt customers to come in, and pick and choose their own bouquet. That being said, were plenty of beautiful arrangements ready to go. The variety was pretty good also. I am guessing though that the owner would be more than happy to listen to what a customer might want in loose flowers, and grab them from the back storage fridge. What he brought out for us was beautiful, in fantastic condition, and picture perfect(I would have been fine with less perfect ones based on what potentially they may experience with a toddler!). It definitely demonstrated the owner’s passion for his store/work/flowers, and the appreciation of the simple pleasure of learning that flowers smell beautiful for a small child. I found my florist. :)

I went in to get some flowers for a friend’s special occasion, and it was a major imposition for them to have to stop what they were doing and deal with this pest of a customer who walked in and insisted on ordering something. Well! They weren’t going to take THAT lying down, let me tell you — they let me know how little my business meant to them, since they had better things to do, and both Randy and the one behind the register were brusque to the point of rudeness, and the prices were QUITE high. The Good Earth florists have nice stuff, they’re glad to see you walk in, and they do their best to help. Guess where I get flowers from nowadays?
