Loved it. Excellent friendly service. Great flavor & the portions are huge. Vegetarian coconut soup was delicious along with the drunken noodles & the pad see ew. We liked the atmosphere too — good music & the watercolor tables are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Some dishes are good, like the duck soup, some are just ok. Since they are the only Thai restaurant in Culpeper if you are craving Thai food you have no other choices. Their desserts are TERRIBLE! Some time back they made good fried bananas and Thai custard. Now they buy frozen desserts and heat them up in the microwave. Not one person in our party of 6 liked their custard or banana sticks. The bananas sticks barely have any banana in them, the custard is a frozen square which we have purchased in Asian grocery stores, like Lotte, a few times, when we were too lazy to make our own. For a Thai restaurant to be too lazy to make their own desserts is ridiculous. One of the best parts of a meal in a Thai restaurant is the Thai desserts at the end. DONOTORDER the desserts. They are HORRIBLE.

Had a late lunch here with my wife, the dress code is definitely casual… the food was good, just not great, my wife had the lemon grass soup, which she enjoyed and I had chicken satay… it was okay. Main courses were flavorful and the portions were large(definitely enough for lunch the next day)… Like the rating says, its good just not great, will probably give it another chance just not any time soon.

Seriously above average Thai food in a place you would not expect. The Kra Pow shrimp and Panang Curry chicken were both outstanding. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and open late.

A large group of us came in for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated in the side room — which had enough space to seat 10 of us together. My usual trifecta when trying a new Thai restaurant is to try the Tom Yum soup(spicy lemongrass soup), Som Tum(Papaya salad), and the Kee Mao Gai. And so I did at Thai Culpeper. The soup was rather disappointing. I asked for it to be extra spicy and it was rather light on the spice. The Papaya salad was a little better spice-wise. The only dish that they came close to getting the spice level right was on the Kee Mao Gai. Pretty tasty dish in fact. I was drinking water and twice they brought me someone else’s Sprite. Other than that, service was good. Folks were friendly.

By far the best food we have eaten whilst we have been in the States! Really authentic Thai food, and I have been over there! We had a range of dishes but my favourite was the Drunken Noodles. We also asked for everything to be Thai hot and it sure was. Very friendly staff and great service.

This is easily the best restaurant in Culpeper. I’ve been coming here since high school and they don’t even have to ask me for my drink order because I always get the Thai iced tea!(Highly recommended). Even after moving away and several trips to different cities, I have yet to find a place that serves Thai food as good as they do.

Delicious! One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the area. Friendly service and delicious food! Everything tastes super authentic and fresh. I tried the chicken satay and red curry. Parking outside isn’t the best but it’s worth driving around the block a couple of times to find a spot. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed.

3.5 stars My friend and I went here for lunch, so we got a salad with our meal i.e. two big pieces of lettuce, a couple of carrot strands, and Wonton soup-like chips with dressing on top-no nutritional value whatsoever but something to keep us occupied while we waited for our real food. The noodle portion of my drunken noodles, aka my real food, were really good and well-spiced. I however got the vegetarian drunken noodles and was really disappointed in the vegetables: they didn’t really complement the dish well and were more like an afterthought. I wish I’d just gotten the drunken noodles plain. Luckily, there was tofu on the dish, which did pair well with the noodles. All in all, this was one of the better Thai restaurants I’ve tried, but it also wasn’t mind-blowing: it was just another basic American Thai restaurant. I also wish there were more pure vegetarian options on the menu, where the vegetables are the main star of the dish, but I guess I can’t be too picky when this is the only place in Culpeper to get Thai food.

Love the atmosphere, staff was friendly, and the Drunken Noodles where the perfect amount of spicy! The portion size was more than I could eat all in one sitting. The prices where lower than I had thought it would be. Only thing I think could be better is the parking BUT having to walk a little just means I could enjoy a few more bites. :-)

We had lunch here. We went to Niagara Fall, NY with my friend and her husband. Every things were awesome foods, service. I’m Thai and like to cook my own Thai foods always. This’s place very good choice for you if you love Thai food. Thai foods are not spicy always. If you can’t eat spicy just tell them. I would love to come back there again. Pad Thai good.

Very nice service and good food. Well worth a visit if you are looking for something more ethnic than you can find on Davis street. My curry was not very spicy, but they didn’t ask about my spice level and might have just assumed I wasn’t looking for anything more than«American» spicy. A bit of heat would have been nice, but I wasn’t looking for Thai spicy anyway. Our group had the mussalman curry with chicken and the green curry with veggies. Both smelled great and had good flavor. Presentation of the food was very nice. This place is pretty easy to drive by. It is in an old hotel and parking is a bit difficult. There is a church lot down the block.
