frequently overcharged, receipt prices don’t always match shelf priced, the error is always in walmart’s favor. don’t like wasting an hour or more in the customer service line. Tried emailing customer service and main office a few times. NEVER received a reply. walmart TOOBIGTOCARE.

I’m not in Culpeper much, but when I am, this Walmart always seems to be busy. There’s never anywhere to park, and the lines at the registers are always long. Does all of Culpeper come here after church in their Sunday best to pick up Sunday dinner? Cashiers always seem to move super slowly, too.

This walmart is usually extremely crowded… on a very very regular basis. Yet the managers still see the need to only have 2 registers open. Really? I don’t particularly like standing in line for 20 minutes in the express lane to buy the 1 or 2 things I needed to «run in» for. & if you need to return something — forget it. That line is twice as long. I will typically make the drive to Warrenton to return things as that customer service department keeps things rolling. Also, on a VERY regular basis, their signs & posters have things spelled incorrectly. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sign up that had everything correct. I know that’s a small pet peeve but still… ANYWAYS — the bottom line is don’t go here expecting to run in & out b/c it’s never the case.

This wal-mart is of course surrounded by other gigantic chains I’m sure I don’t have to list for you. This was the second one we visited since the first one didn’t have the item we were looking for. We called ahead so we could be sure the detour off 29 wouldn’t delay us further and were transferred to the electronics department. I have to admit we didn’t ask for the sales clerk’s name, but none of the 4 cashiers/representatives there could help us when we had just called 10 minutes earlier to confirm the item was on the shelf. It was a disappointment and the«it wasn’t me» attitude didn’t lead us in the right direction. I was so happy to get out of that monstrous place. Luckily, the trip wasn’t a complete waste since girl scout cookies were right outside!
