Pretty cool. They got some Hank Williams on the juke box. Some say it should have more to offer, like hard booze. Just a good place to hang and have a cigarette on the patio. This is just a neighborhood bar. It does have some fun people.

They are opening up at 8 am this month showing all the World Cup games! I watched the Kings win here, spurs and heat finals, dodger games, clippers, lakers. Great local bar. Super friendly staff, wide variety of bottled beer. Draft beer is also available. $ 6 wine and their signature Micheladas at $ 8.
Cash or Visa/​MasterCard accepted with a $ 20 minimum but with all beer at $ 5 that’s not a problem.
Wide variety of music on the jukebox and pool tables at $ 6/​hour.
Wether you’re in the neighborhood or just passing by this is a super chill spot… well worth the visit.

This is a total shit hole. It’s a filthy dive that poorly caters to the local latino population. Cheap beer and very loud romanticos/​rancheros music. Always empty.
While it has a LOT of potential to be a friendly, multi-​cultural hangout for a diverse and friendly neighborhood, and I wish it were, it’s just too poorly run to merit a visit. ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!!!
An example of the filth. They have a vinyl bar cushion along the bar where the vinyl layer is worn off leaving only cloth that can’t ever be cleaned and never is. If you wan’t drinks and a latin flavor go across the street to El Baron.
