Horrible, Horrible, Horrible! I wish I could give them NOSTARS. I went there for the first time to get a cut since I live in the area and the barber shop I normally go to which is in downtown LA was closed for the holiday. I was so disappointed! Not only was I upset about the the cut that I could of faded better in the dark myself but the price was ridiculous. I payed $ 35 for a messed up haircut. I would rather travel all the way downtown in traffic and pay $ 12 for a bomb haircut then around the corner of my house to get a messed up haircut for $ 35. These dudes don’t know what they are doing! Don’t waste your time nor MONEY!

One of the worst experiences at a barber shop that I’ve ever had. The entrance looked awesome which is why I went in. The girl that greeted was nice, and told me there would be a small wait, which was fine, but surprised that I wasn’t offered a drink when they have a full bar at the front where you wait. The barber was nice… until I told him what I wanted. He didn’t completely understand me because he calls the certain way of cutting different that what I usually ask for. He laughed at me and corrected me in a condescending tone. His work station was dirty. Two dirty towels covered in hair hanging out of the drawer where his tools were kept. There was hair and a comb on the floor of the station next to me. It was just completely unsanitary. All of his clipper heads in the drawer were filthy. The cut was okay. I can see a line around my head where it was supposed to «fade»(hence why I went to a barber shop). He didn’t offer to style my hair or put product in it. Then when I went to pay, it was $ 10 more than I was told when I came in. Needless to say I will never return.

What other shop offers you a cold drink as soon as you enter? Also, while you wait you can catch up on the latest sports headlines from one of the several flat screens. If you are used to a good straight razor line, I highly recommend barber stylist Mo! Do yourself a favor and give the Barber Lounge a try!

Stopped in to catch the game and it was great. Dan was extremely friendly and the barbers seem to be handling business. Come in scope out the barbers and maybe find a great new spot in the mall.

They Ain’t Shyt! Today at 3:14pm, Ill give the one star but that’s for the host. first this place has gone to «it’s on and poppin» to «its off and lackin». I waited for an hour and 15 mins for a easy touch up when I was told it’ll be 35 min wait time. Then when it was my turn I got skipped twice like as if my name wasn’t on the sign up sheet all because the barber ignored the host when she said I was next. This place needs better communication and needs to follow the order of things in which they are placed. They to old for this. I didn’t even get a haircut a now I’m walking around like the 12 years of slavery. I’m not going back!

Only go here if you want your time wasted. Made an appointment for 11 barber didn’t show up until 11:30 and took an hour cutting someone else’s hair and shooting the sh*t. He didn’t even acknowledge being late just walked in while on the phone like he was Denzel or something and the poor receptionist has to cover for the barbers. It’s not even like I could ask for someone else because even though they open at 10 only the receptionist is there. It’s a fancy place with poor service and employees with poor work ethic. Don’t do it!

The worst excuse ever for a barbershop it’s overly priced for no reason the quality of work is horrible the paid $ 30 for A line up because my regular barber was out of town and with him I only pay $ 25 for everything A line face clean up and hair cut the service was horrible the guy can’t walking around talking he left went to the bag the left went to the front to talk to someone worst service ever please don’t go there it’s a waste of your Time and money.

Paid $ 47 w/o tip to get a standard black man’s haircut. Barber wasn’t charismatic, other barber was ghetto. If you went to Melrose Blvd looking for a more expensive haircut, they would at least use a straight razor on you and condition your beard and hair for only $ 30. Awesome Hair on Slauson in Ladera only charges $ 20. Heck, the barbershop upstairs from barber lounge charges $ 30 and has done a way better job. If my cut came with a drink maybe I might be more happy with the gimmick but alas it did not since the bar isn’t set up for use. Heck, at least make me pay for ambiance and atmosphere(there was nothing but reruns of Wildn Out on.) What a ridiculous place. I’ll never come back again. Telling all my friends…(Extra star is purely for the fact that barber at the very least did not mess up my hair but he was not by any means the best.)

Do not come to this place! Ridiculous prices for really bad haircuts. You will pay over $ 40 for a simple wash!

If I could give a zero rating I would. Waited for 30 minutes only to have the first available barber ask if my son was next and then when told yes he walked out. We waited another 15 minutes for the next available barber who proceeded to avoid taking my son back and tried to pass him off on yet another barber who was still cutting. Needless to say I was not happy and did not get a cut. My son was looking forward to getting his hair cut but after the way we were treated I did not feel comfortable giving them my money or allowing them to touch my son’s hair.

Over priced for a terrible cut and worse customer service. The cut was rushed, and when it was finished, it was uneven. They charged me 35 bucks for a basic cut, way over priced! I pay 20 usually for my cut and get quality service at another shop in westchester, I wish I had gone there instead. When I asked if they had a military discount, the casket informed me they did, but then my barber denied me the discount«because that comes out of his pocket». I still left a 5 dollar tip, although I should have left zero given the quality. I would avoid this establishment at all costs.

I regret not asking the price of a wash and cut but from experience men’s haircuts only cost circa $ 20 plus tip. So I expected this place to be in that ballpark price range. They charged $ 40 plus tip for a cut(which was average) and $ 13 plus tip for a wash! The owner of this place is greedy. I guess she has to pay for her plastic surgery somehow. The staff are friendly but this place won’t last long charging prices like this.

Wanna mention Jennifer specially who did my hair a cut and color was just amazing. She is a great stylist, with a lot of knowledge about hair styling. I loved the way she gave style to my hair and colored with lot of processes as my hair needed detone before the actual color. Thanks Jenn for your awesome work on my hair.
