Finally got here as I have heard so much about the Bobby, I wanted to try it. It was an interesting sandwich, something different, that you can’t get everywhere, so it’s worth a drive to cul er city just to savor the experience. What is it? It’s basically a turkey sandwich on a roll, but they add cranberries and stuffing to the sandwich, which is a lot different then your normal run of the mill turkey sandwich, like you might get at subway. It was pretty good with some minor qualifications .it was tasty, but the stuffing was quite dry, but the cranberries were quite tasty and added to the flavor of the sandwich .it comes on a sub roll, but theyight consider offering a choice of breads as the roll was not the best choice for that time of sandwich. I would come again for the bobby, if I was in that mood. But if I wanted a really good sandwich I would go to mikes on slauson, they are the best.

Solid sandwich shop with lots of options and tasty soup. Calling ahead works great and delivery though another service was fine as well. Easy to get to, small lot but street parking as well. Now if only they had french fries too…

I always enjoy a sandwich from Capriotti’s. And their potato chips are crispy and tasty too! I had a 20″ Capastrami today and it was SOGOOD. And if you take their survey on your receipt you’ll get $ 3.00 off. So stop by, call or go online and order some Capriotti’s today!

It’s not bad the meatball sandwich just ordered it. The girls are ok with the service. It’s clean I tried the Bobbie it was whack I didn’t like it at all. The cranberry should be on the bread and the stuffing shouldn’t be so salty, made add some mash potatoes but the sandwich sucks, I will return only for the brownies

Completely inedible, poorly made and dry sandwich. I ordered the veggie cheesesteak, and honestly subway is so much better and so much more reasonably priced in comparison. The sandwich barely had anything and was extremely dry which. I can’t emphasize enough. I should have suspected when the cashier couldn’t explain what the veggie cheesesteak was and then turned to the ‘cook’ and asked her if she knew how to make it! How does this place even function! I feel completely ripped off.

My first time trying the subs here, I have to say I had the Capastrami and it was delicious. It hit the spot I’m set for a few hours had the entire 12″ and I’m proud of it lol. My partner had the Cheese Steak Sub he said it was delclious. That will be my next sub to try.

I ordered the Veggie Cheese Steak and it was bomb! I usually don’t like imitation meat, but this was pretty good. The gal who took my order was very nice and patient with me while I came to my final ordering decisions. Will def come back!

I reviewed this sandwich spot in the past complimenting the sandwiches, particularly the Bobbie and the ColeTurkey, their new soup options, but noting the customer service left something to be desired. It appears to have been removed. At any rate the customer service is okay now but I had a horrible sandwich yesterday. I ordered one of my favorites, the ColeTurkey and when I brought it home and unwrapped it it was abaolutely soaked in mayonnaise-the wrapping soaked, the roll soaked, mayo dripping off of it. I debated whether to get back in my car and take it back and show them what they had prepared for me, feed it to my pets but they would not forgive me, throw it away or try to salvage it. I dried it off as best I could but it was really disgusting other than the turkey itself which is always delicious. This place is a little bit of a trek for me, so not sure I shall return now. I have been told that Unilocal covers up bad reviews for paying companies and hides positive for those who don’t. My past review was in large positive so unsure why it is not here. Yesterday’s sandwich should never have been given to me. The employees wouldn’t have eaten it, so why serve to paying customers?

Capriotti’s delivers to our office all the time. Tried to order lunch for our office today. The girl who answered asked me if the order was more than $ 50 and then transferred me without any warning to another man and I had to repeat myself. He scolded me for not giving them 24 hours notice(where did that come from?). Terrible attitude. Will never order for our office from here again.

Making a «Thanksgiving sandwich» the day after the holiday meal is probably my favorite thing about it. I’ve tried a few of their sandwiches, but the Bobbie(easy on the mayo, heavy on the cranberry) is my favorite. This location is near my office, so it makes for an easy lunch break, the parking lot in the tiny plaza gets crowded, but if you can wait 5 minutes, a spot will open up. The place is small but clean inside. It is not really a place to sit and enjoy lunch. It is more of a carry out place for me. These subs are MeatNormous! I can’t even finish a small, but i like a good value, so I order a medium and ask that the two halves be wrapped separately and voila! Two lunches for a pretty modest price. I was born in Pittsburgh, so their selection of Wise brand potato chips always makes me happy.

I came here because Sorrentos market across the street was closed and it was a pleasant surprise! The sandwiches were a little pricey but they were big and deeeelicious! I got the pastrami and was absolutely thrilled with the taste, texture and size of it. My gorlfriend bought the turkey sandwich and was a little disappointed in how dry it was. They have a small parking lot and the sandwich was made pretty quickly! The price is a little high but the pastrami was amazing!

I’m American. We like our sandwiches and we love the hell out of Thanksgiving. Now that Capriotti’s is in LA, I can have the best of both worlds any day I please. I’ve never had anything other than The Bobbie. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo. Usually a cold sandwich for whatever reason, do yourself a favor and ask them to warm it up. This is my easy, go-to comfort food. It’s filling, it’s familiar and it’s simple enough to be ordered 5 minutes before indulging. I’m not a hot turkey sandwich snob. The Bobbie is good cold, too. As a matter of fact, I am eating last night’s leftovers at my desk now. A coworker just came into my office to pitch his usual morning hissy fit of complaints to his sounding board, interrupted himself and said, «Are you eating a sandwich at 9am?» Yes, the hell I am.

Not great. Not even good. Just south of mediocre, and expensive for what you get. Ordered three sandwiches. Bread on the Philly was undercooked and gummy. That’s not a roll, it’s undercooked white bread. I mean, it seriously liked like someone pulled it out of the oven 12 minutes early. Sandwich fillings were mostly bland. Employees weren’t the sharpest. Lots of confused looks and shrugs. Sandwich came out in the oddest paper that ended up drenched with sandwich contents by the time we got home, and the handwritten label was not legible, although it had the distinctive marks of a gang tag(classy!). As far as taste, eh. Why bother when LA has so many good sandwich shops.

Not great. Not bad. Just, whatever. The philly steak I had was good as well as the meatball sub. Everyone swears«The Bobbie» is fantastic but eh. The cranberries don’t entice me. I’ve been here a few times because it’s convenient enough to order in for lunch. It really is forgettable though. The bread is just, plain and lacks flavor. It also tastes a day old. Have they change their bread to a higher quality, best believe I’d be back quicker. The meat quality they use in their sandwiches are top notch. So is the cheese. If I could take all the stuff they put in their sandwich and stick it in another baguette, I would in a heartbeat! The meatballs were delicious and cooked to perfection! Especially with their marinara and cheese. NOMALLDAY! All in all this is a place I wouldn’t go out of my way for & not worth the hype. I have yet to try any of their other sandwiches but at least they have good quality deli, meats, & cheese. Now, find a new baker and this place would be set!

Great… great…great! Amazing sandwiches! This location is a hair over ghetto compared to others, but I still like it. Staff is very nice and efficient. Randy’s Top 4 Capriotti Sandwiches: #1 «The Bobbie» —(to die for) — moist and tender shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, and STUFFING. Yes! #2 Meatball —(thats’a Italian to you) — great and meaty balls, super good, great sauce. #3 Roast Beef —(so dang good!) — cooked right there in the shop, super moist and tender, and shredded. Gimme gimme! #4 Chicken cheesesteak —(The Pope would say«holy moly») — tender chicken cuts, get the works with cheese, mushrooms, peppers, and onions! First, you have to know, the secret to a good sandwich is the bread. Here, at Capriotti’s, they know HOWTODOITRIGHT! Second, it’s hard not to get a LARGE. The prices are crazy good. Roughly, $ 8 for 9″, $ 10 for 12″, and $ 14 for a BIG20″. C’mon! Capriotti’s is my favorite chain sandwich shop! There are many locations, find one nearest you(or move closer to one!)

I noticed the average review score here has dropped to 3.5 stars, even though it’s a solid 4 at every other location. So I thought I’d update and confirm that they’re just as good as ever. I only ever get the Bobbie, it’s great. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and mayo on a fresh roll. Even the small is too much to eat at one sitting unless you’re totally starving. And I’m 6’3″. And for those people who take issue with preservatives, everything here’s fresh. You can tell ‘cuz the bread starts getting hard if you save it for the next day(which I always do anyway). I don’t understand anyone complaining about the price either. For under $ 10 you can get a 9 inch sandwich, enough for 2 meals. I can’t speak to everything on the menu, though I have tried the regular turkey sandwich. I didn’t care much for it, but my wife loves it. And several friends and coworkers have tried the Capastrami and love it. Last but not least, the service. The worst service I’ve ever had here is what I would call above average anywhere else. And it’s usually far better than that. Make sure to ask for a punch card, every 11th sandwich is free. And you can also use the free large soda(from the Unilocal app) on top of that.

I didn’t think anything of this easy to miss located sandwich shop when it first opened, but then I started getting fliers in the mail which pointed out that it’s an award winning sandwich place and this is it’s first store in Los Angeles. And they chose a location about a mile away from my home, in my own neighborhood! Culver City, Bitch!!! So I took them up on their BOGO Free offer and ordered their signature sandwich, the Bobbie. Apparently, the Bobbie was recently voted the Greatest Sandwich in America by AOL, and you can tell because this is liberally posted on their products. But hey, this isn’t a small feat by any means, so props to that! I was excited to try it. Description: slow roasted turkey, fresh cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing, and mayonnaise. Apparently they ran out of ingredients to describe and needed one more, but it was either mayonnaise or bread. The first few bites, I must admit, my tastebuds were in heaven. There was a flurry of different tastes, from the tenderness of the turkey to the saltiness of the stuffing, mixed in with the tangy sweetness of the cranberries and the chewiness of the french bread. It was good! But then after the initial delight wore off(exactly 3 bites into it), I realized I was eating a sweet and tangy bread stuffing sandwich, and I started to get bored with it. The turkey, which I do enjoy, played only a minor ingredient and was overwhelmed by the other two. After finishing the first sandwich, I still had a second one to go and wasn’t all that excited about it. Maybe it’s like the coke vs pepsi taste test, and the initial bite is so powerful and unlike anything you’d expect that it wins with the first compelling bite. They do have other sandwiches I’m willing to try, but they’re more expensive then Subway so I’ll have to wait for another coupon or special deal. Service was good, they seemed very excited to take my order and the restaurant was clean. Parking here is easy, as they share a large lot with Yoshinoya and 7 – 11.

Rating: 42⁄100 pts In my ongoing traversal of the restaurant options nearby my office, Capriotti’s was an unfortunate misstep. Many other reviewers have praised the pastrami(err, «Caprastrami») sandwich, but I’d recently had a series of great pastrami sandwiches already, and on actually entering the shop and browsing the menu, my sights focused on The Bobbie. The description sounded great: shredded turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce on a sub – sign me up! Unfortunately, what came out was disappointing. The bread was not freshly baked, the stuffing and cranberry sauce didn’t have much taste, the turkey wasn’t that great, and to top it off, the sandwich is served cold. What should have been Americana bliss on a bun ended up tasting like old Thanksgiving leftovers scavenged out of the fridge and lazily piled into yesterday’s bread. I ordered the smallest size(9 inch), but even then couldn’t finish it, my tastebuds having gotten bored 6 inches through. As much as I’d like to avoid judging a restaurant based on one item alone, I was so turned off by my first experience that I won’t be going back. The Bobbie is the first thing on the«Specials» menu, so if this didn’t appeal to me, there’s no reason to think the others will. I suppose there’s worse, but certainly not my favorite sandwich place.
