Conover Plumbing

I have used Conover Plumbing a handful of times throughout the past several years, and I have never been disappointed. Most recently, water was pouring out from my water heater. I called Todd at 7:30 in the morning. He asked me to send some pictures of my water heater and within 3 hours he had arrived with a new water heater, took away the old and we had hot water again.
Another time, a friend had called another company because he had a clogged toilet. I The other company was telling him it was going to cost over $ 3400 because the problem was in the piping running between the street and his toilet. I told him to hold off and call Conover Plumbing to get a 2^nd opinion. Conover Plumbing came with their heavy duty snake and was able to unclog the drain! This was over 2 years ago and he has not had any problems. Saved my friend $ 3300 plus!
Todd is very knowledgeable, straight-​forward, reasonably priced and honest. He calls it as he sees it. I wish there were more Todd’s in this world

I don’t even know where to begin with the nightmare that is Conover Plumbing. They are the definition of over promising and under delivering. We hired Conover Plumbing to repipe the entire building on our threeplex (a $ 50,000 job). We asked for a working toilet and shower so we could at least be living there while it was being repiped. He promised that would take a week, that took a month. In fact, we were lucky to get one of his workers to our place for half a day during an entire work week. And when they would come, there was absolutely zero notice when they were coming. In fact, there was about 10 week gap where they just decided to shop showing up. Work was done, then sheet rocked over only to reveal shoddy work with leaks so all the new sheet rock had to be torn out and everything had to be redone. It is now a year later and brand new kitchen cabinetry warpage is revealing a leak from their services. Todd came by to look at it and was oddly silent when looking at the damage. We called another plumber who immediately pointed out the issues. I cannot recommend you stay away from Todd Conover Plumbing enough. We held off writing this, but Conover Plumbing has not returned our phone calls.

Rock-​solid, calm and knows what he’s doing. «I don’t have any panic in me»…that’s a thing you want to hear from your plumber when your yard’s full of sh***e (excuse Scottish spelling). Very laid back and you get the feeling he cares about doing the job right.

We had a pipe leak in our back yard for who knows how long (since our landlord/​my mom pays for water) and Todd came to the rescue! I had called several places off of Unilocal before getting in touch with Todd. He was the only one that answered the phone in person and was available immediately.
Thankfully, my husband was home to let Todd in, as he arrived a little early (Kudos #1). By the time I arrived at home, he had a good sense of what may have been going on and what to do about it — easy breezy and MUCH less expensive than I expected (Kudos #2). As we walked to the front of the house to turn off the main water, Todd noticed another pipe routing to the back yard. Oh oh! He quickly recalculated and started diagnosing the problem based on this new finding (Kudos #3). Then, my mom arrived. There goes «easy breezy»! However, it is her house, so she knows its innards the best. She started questioning Todd left and right; and might I add, she’s not the warmest and fuzziest person you’ll meet. Todd was so professional, calm, gracious, polite, and accommodating toward her… I was very impressed with his lion taming skills (Kudos #4 — #100+).
Anyway, turned out there was a hole in the pipe that would just require a clamp (temp fix till we figured out a longer term solution). Todd and his fearless sidekick, Mo, went out, purchased the appropriate clamp, installed it and Voila! We were golden. From this first impression, which we all know is the most important; Todd came off as reliable, honest, knowledgeable, and professional with a very nice demeanor. He doesn’t know it yet but he is now my permanent plumber. In fact, he’s so cool that I just want to invite him to hang out with us and have a beer or two.
So, short story long, I would highly highly recommend Todd for your plumbing needs. After all, FWIW, I gave him 100+ kudos… on a scale of 1 – 10.

We recently hired Conover Plumbing based on a recommendation from a family member. We needed to replace a bad mix of old rusty galvanized pipes and PVC pipes the previous owner of our house had installed when they relocated the water heater and rerouted the water main.
Todd gave a very reasonable quote for the project and his team did an extremely professional job! They were fast, courteous and neat… even leaving the areas they worked in cleaner than they were before they started!
They routed the new copper lines inside the walls where they belong instead of following the shortcuts that had been done previously which had left some of the old pipes exposed.
I will definitely hire Conover Plumbing for any future plumbing projects and highly recommend them!
