I have been for 4 going on 5 visits for chronic migraines and lower back pain. From day one I have had significant improvement. She is honest, very sweet and sincere, humble, knowledgeable, and very thorough! Parking is free and you don’t have to fight for it, her office is close to major freeways and Westfield/Fox Hills mall. Even though I have insurance, I did take a look at her priceless for those who don’t have insurance. 1 word: R E A S O N A B L E Kaiser Permanente only covers a certain amount of visits per calender year per ailment. For me, I would rather go this route than be stuck on pills that may or may not work or, may cause more damage or extra added damages! I WILL be coming out of pocket for extra visits throughout the year. She knows her stuff and it works for me! All in all in my opinion, Dr. Sarah Kim is the real deal and she is worth giving a shot.

I don’t like writing less than nice reviews. Unilocal is not something I do as a crusade and being a critic isn’t something I would ever want to do as a career. But occasionally I have to make an exception. I’m not going to go into a long story here. If you want to read the long story please go to the update I will write for Dr. Chou in San Diego. Dr. Kim’s work was not effective in my particular case. Perhaps my condition was worse than she realized. My pain level 6.5 is a lot of peoples’s 9.0. She asked a series of questions to ascertain how I was feeling and I felt she seemed confident in her assessment. Apparently I was wrong. Her treatment of my condition was not effective. This in and of itself is not a bad thing. With alternative medicine I accept that it may or may not have the desired effect for me. However, I didn’t feel any benefit as I was leaving Dr Kim’s office. If she hadn’t had another patient waiting as I left I would have gone back but since I live right across from her office and felt more like going home and lying down than waiting until she was done I didn’t. The next day I felt worse and the pain had shifted locations. I went to work the next day but then had to miss the next two because the pain had increased significantly. I called Dr. Kim’s office and left a message that I wanted to cancel my appointment that I had scheduled for the following week because the treatment was not effective. The tone of my message was easygoing. I left my number feeling she might want to call me back to see what my issues were with her care but no phone call was forthcoming. That was a shame. If she had done that I might not have felt it necessary to write this review. I fix watches for a living. While I strive to meet or exceed each and every one of my clients expectations occasionally that isn’t possible. But whenever there is any issue with my service I always want to know what I could have done better. It’s just the right thing to do. The professional thing to do. The $ 70 I paid Dr. Kim for her work was a complete waste as far as my condition was concerned. However I did learn an extremely valuable lesson. Choosing a healthcare professional using convenience as part of my criteria is a huge mistake. I will never do that again.
