Worst costumer service ever! It took so long to get my food plus the potion size was small! I asked for my money back because the cook gave me attitude so I didn’t want it anymore! The manager is so rude when she gave me my money back!

I absolutely love this Mongolian BBQ place. It is so convenient and unlike the restaurants where u have 15 people in front of you. Flavor and spices are BOMB! 5 stars forsure.

Haven’t eaten here recently and wanted to pick up something on the way home from work. Horrible choice!!! Tasteless noodles and sad looking veggies. The first bite of the beef and noodles didn’t seem too bad, although really bland. Then in my first bite of the chicken and noodles, I bit into a huge piece of gristle. Looked in the container and many of the chicken pieces looked sketchy — fat, skin. No thanks. What a waste of money. Won’t be eating here again. Oh … and I don’t consider myself a picky eater by a long shot!

This place is pretty good… I mean we are talking about Mall Food here people. But besides that… Veggies — good variety. Meat — fresh & juicy. Noodles– depends if they don’t overcook them, if not, decent. The noodles are more orangy in color than other Mongolian places I’ve gone too. Overall… yummy! I’ll keep coming back for my post-workout meals.

3 ½. Ughhhhhh this place is my guilty pleasure. It’s conveniently located in the food court of the Fox Hills Mall aka Westfield Culver City. By the way, it’s actually called Mongrill now. I haven’t had any bad experiences and customer service is marginal, but it’s mall food so what else can you expect? The to-go plate is $ 9.50 which includes your choice of meat, veggies, and noodles or brown rice. I definitely recommend getting the brown rice if you’re trying to be healthier but the noodles are just too good and so carby: P You can choose the level of spiciness and how much garlic you want as well. I remember going to Mongolian BBQ when I was younger and I miss those days because you were able to put the amount of food you wanted in your plate. All of my friends used to smash the meat to fit more food but you won’t see that option anymore. This place as well as other Mongolian BBQ spots have taken the do-it-yourself aspect away so they can save money. Make sure to tip the guys making your food, they’re busting their ass and it’s hot in there so a nice gesture goes a long way. If you love your food spicy, ask for hot sauce at the register!

I love the food but wow it feels like I payed 20 dollars for scraps. What did they do to the portion size. It honestly feels like the lady was out to get me staring at me with such animosity. I almost wanted to get a refund to get something more filling. Oh well I love the food tho. Just feel ripped off… EDIT. I just finished eating and I am beyond unsatisfied. 1 star for effort… Well I guess for taste cause not much effort.

By far the worse of all restaurants in this mall. If you’re looking for low quality food try it out. And their«large shrimps»? Hah… More like really tiny tasteless shrimps. Mediocre customer service.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Yuck! I’ve had Mongolian BBQ at the Montebello Westfield Mall and was 10x better than this place. The meat smelled funny and it was underseasoned and nasty. I felt sort of sick after eating it and I threw the whole thing in the trash! Noodles are cheap and have the consistency of gummy worms. Save your Money & Stomach from the place! Waste of money!

Everytime I’m at this foodcourt for lunch, I almost always come here for the«combo» and gets great everytime, and they fill the to go container to the brim! I see some reviews about food quality, and I must question whether they are basing this between a sit down dining experience vs. food court? The quality and flavor is just right… not sure what people expect from a $ 10 foodcourt meal… I would say given the alternatives you can stock your meal with vegetables and your pick of meat(beef, chicken, pork, turkey)…so I say again for ~$ 10 you can get a pretty healthy meal COOKED to order right in front of you. Thats great in my book.

The overall experience at this place is decent. The food was OK, not great for the $ 7 I had to pay. The lady behind the glass covering had a very dull and irritable attitude, and wasn’t helpful to a newcomer. I say that if this restaurant improved it’s design and made it easier for first-timers, their business would improve. I would recommend this place to others.

I’ve eaten at other locations before my favorite being the Del Amo mall one. The food at this one is definitely sub par and it’s very bland. Also I really dislike the fact that the servers put the food into the bowl for you so you can’t choose how much of something you want. They are also extremely stingy with the noodles and will give you barely any. I will never eat here again!

They’ve changed the name but it’s the same place. Ingredients are bland and low quality. The noodles are awful and even the rice you can get substituted is just okay. They’re often missing vegetables to choose, it’s never consistent from one visit to the next.

Terrible service. The workers were more interested in chatting with the janitor than taking an order. We paid 18 bucks for 2 meals that we didn’t finish because it was just mediocre. Don’t go here as they add whatever they want to your meal. One of the employees made her own meal while ours was on the grill an she kept he meats in the sauce the whole time making tastiness. They obviously know how to make it better but don’t put out the effort to make your meal any good.

The«staff» if you can even call them that are rude and very short. I asked for rice and she said«arroz» to whomever is responsible for rice. I watch my meat cook and be put into a container and it’s ready. Just meat. No rice. I ask for rice and everyone looks surprised. I’m told to wait ten minutes for rice. Certainly not. I requested a refund and they went to get rice from next door at Sarku Japan where I should have eaten in the first place. Worst part about it is the manager had the worst attitude. Makes sense why the employees behave the way they do. First and last boat.

I’m visiting my sister in Los Angeles. We were in the Fox HIlls mall, but about to go exercise, so we wanted something light. My brother in-law and I split a vegetarian noodle combo from the Mongolian Grill. You could actually feed three people from the meal. We were both full after. My father thought that it was a bit salty, but compared to the vietnamese food I had last night, I didn’t think that it was too salty. It was light and our exercise went well. It was filled with nice vegetables. The service was quick, although not super friendly. They were fine with splitting one into two boxes. Of course, this is in a mall food court, so I would say it was good considering the circumstances. My sister said that if you are hungry and you want to eat something nice in the mall, go to Stone Oven.

In any given strip mall here is my standard cravings-fillings criteria: Italian craving = Sbarro Snack craving = Hot Dog on a Stick THIRSTY = Surf City Squeeze Cheap craving = Burger King Asian craving = Panda Express. if there’s not a Great Kahns around In all agreement, the quality of the service and food at Great Kahns is not the best; but it’s definitely on par with the other generic food joints in any mall. You can’t really come here expecting to have a delicious filling meal that you’ll be raving to your friends about; you come here because you’re craving the experience of Mongolian BBQ. There is definitely something attractive and fun about picking your own meats and vegetables and watching the cook deftly throw your ingredients and sauces onto the crazy cooking contraption they use(I would definitely want one for my kitchen!). Plus you’re guaranteed hot food, no complaining about cold food! Taste-wise I would say that Panda would win everytime. Kahns seems to use some generic Asian teriyaki spicy sauce that doesn’t earn many points and leaves you begging for many cups of water. But until they start cooking Orange Chicken and Chow Mein right in front of me, Great Kahns will be there as a viable strip-mall-Asian-craving-filling-joint. FYI: This location has a sign explicitly stating«DONOTPUSHDOWNONTHEMEATINYOURBOWL.» Not doing this essentially cheats you of a significant amount of stir fry. Do what I do: fill up on meat, add vegetables, press down on your vegetables, add more meat =).

avoid this location to avoid possible food borne illness. The staff building your bowl uses the same hands/gloves to touch raw meat, raw veggie, noodles and does this all over again for the next person. LA County Health Department will SOOOOO shut this place down instantly if they witness what I did today.

I liked the option of choosing what would be in my noodle dish, so I figured that I give Great Khan’s a shot. Got the standard with the following ingredients: — Chicken — Mushrooms — Bell Peppers — Onions — Garlic — Oyster Sauce — Spicy Chili Sauce — Sriracha, Soy Sauce, Salt and Pepper available by where you pick up your order. Pros: — You choose what you want in your noodle dish. Lots of options. — Prepared right in front of you. — Lots of food. I couldn’t finish my order. — Decently priced. I paid $ 8.73 for my noodle dish. — Good Sarku [Chinese place next door] alternative. Cons: — Bland. Make sure you request a lot of sauce. I think I’ll try something other than the oyster sauce next time. — Minimal meat. I think you could pay for more. A lot better than I thought. You get a lot of food for spending minimally. Make sure you get a lot of sauce on your order, it’ll make a world of difference. Just come with low expectations and you’ll come away satisfied.

Youll let me hold your hand Now let me hold your hand I wanna hold your hand And when I touch you i feel happy, inside… at GREATKHAN’S MONGOLIANBBQ! — Beatles(i want to hold your hand) They sucked me in with the sample up front… damn them, tractor beamed to the wrong thing… not the first time lol. Ack i dunno, they hurried making the bowl(they make it for you but u get to choose what u want) and the cooking process was insane. There were like 8 bowls queued up and they took their time during primetime lunch time to bust out more bowls. The worst thing was that they just threw teriyaki sauce left and right, when it came to mine the guy launched like 5 – 6 shots into it and it turned out so watery… oof. I was hungry too so it was bearable. No more tractor beams, i’m shielding up next time. Food: 2 stars — Service: 1.5 stars — Atmosphere: n/a — Price(value): 2 stars
