this place was solid on game day. TVs everywhere, plenty of space to watch, good pub food and drinks at great prices, quick and friendly service, and parking was a breeze

Pete rocks! Best bartender on the Westside. Super great pours — and fun and entertaining. Plus the happy hour is 3.50 until 7 pm!!! Can u believe that. Big bar, outside area and great food — check out the Irish nachos. Comedy every other Tuesday. ANDTHENTHEREWASHUGH!!! Can there be two best bartenders on he Westside? Can they both work at the same place. YES!!! JOxERs!

Great atmosphere for Redskins fans. Felt like I was on the club level at FedEx Field. Don’t yawn while you’re in this bar. They’ll blare a horn and announce it on the microphone, then make you take a shot. Ha! I thought that was dope. Reasonably priced food and drinks. It’s just outside of LA but a cheap Über makes it worth it. If you want to get a seat on game day when the Skins are playing get there early. I’m glad I did.

I visited Joxer Daly’s during the 2015 – 2016NFL Playoffs to watch the Chiefs vs. Texans wildcard playoff game after Googling«best sports bars in LA» and finding Joxer Daly’s listed on the following Eater LA list: This bar was EXACTLY what I look for in a sports bar: * Full enough that there is energy during the game, but not so full that you can easily find a seat or put your order in * A bar with character, that could easily pass as a neighborhood bar but has that special something that makes it worth a drive to visit * Ability to see multiple games or see the BIG game every direction you look,(some bars skimp on TVs), Joxer’s has walls plastered with TVs, the coup de grâce is a projection TV cast upon a large screen — sure you sacrifice on resolution, but size matters, plus there are enough HDTV screens at all other angles if you want the high-res * The lighting is soft and there is a lot of wood. There are high tables and regular tables and a wood bar to sidle up to Joxer Daly is a proud Irish bar. The table cards read«Order at the bar. Our waitress ran off with a Leprechaun», there is a Leprechaun cutout hung on one wall, and there is a Guinness«count down to St. Patrick’s clock» on another. There is a wall of dedication to local policemen and firemen. There is another wall with a poster of all the presidents through George W. Bush with a separate framed picture of President Barack Obama. Some very distinctive aspects of the bar: * There is a large banner reading«Your Home for the Washington Redskins»(being from D.C. area this warms the bottom of my heart) * There is a half a police motorcycle sticking out of a wall next to the bar and the bartenders play the police sirens every time a touch down is scored. This bar gets four stars for authenticity and dive-bar/sports-bar ambiance. The beer selection is good for an Irish Bar: Irish stand-by’s Guinness, Smithwicks, though no Harp //plus some american microbrews from Firestone and Anchor. However for a beer snob the tap selection is lacking. The food is what you’d expect and want from a sports bar. The JOXERWINGS are DANGEROUS. I do not recommend ordering them unless you’re masochistic or drunk. The vinegar reminds me of mustard gas and the spiciness reminds me of pepper spray. I could only eat two wings. ONTHEOTHERHAND, the GRILLEDWINGS are DELICIOUS. ORDERTHEGRILLEDWINGS. AVOIDJOXERWINGS. We also ordered chips and salsa. Chips are good. Salsa is weak. We ordered the«garlic bread» and enjoyed the butter toast but did not taste the garlic. However, we came here for the sports and Joxer Daly delivered on that primary objective.

I am only giving 3 stars because the beer price is great. 11 – 7PM you can gee domestics for $ 3.50 so that makes it a great place to drink. The staff is very friendly and the environment is nice. The only issue is that the food is just bad and not seasoned. Large portions, so that is good, but it is large portions of gross.

Good bar food, big servings. Nice enough staff, loud crowd. Your basic decent sports bar.

My local Culver City favorite place to watch the game. It’s very crowded for Sunday Redskins football. Bring your appetite as the food portions are huge. The bar staff are great and friendly — even Pete!

This is a good venue that I only learned about, having joined a karaōke competition in September. This event is only taking place on Wednesdays, so I can only speak to these. The Emcee Trish and KJ Gabe are a great tandem of fun mongers(yes, I said that). Singing and Karaōke– and watching others do it– have always been a joy for me, and when the KJ and Emcee are also having fun doing so, it adds to the fun factor! I’ll add more to this review in time. Stay tuned!

I went for lunch with some co-workers when we all thought it’d be a good day for a fun lunch. The service was a little slow, only the bartender taking orders and filling beers, they had just opened and didn’t seem ready to go. The fish and chips were passable. The fish was good, I got the half order so only two small pieces and a ton of very boring steak fries. On the upside, the Guinness was good.

Review ONLY for Sunday Football: I will admit this bar may be the most amazing bar ever… if you’re a Redskins fan. I’m all for team bars. Hell, I’m a bears fan and spent all of last year hanging out at a Browns’ bar every Sunday. The difference, though, is that the Browns’ bar understands that hey, maybe we all don’t want to see your lousy team play football.(I certainly wouldn’t make everyone sit through three hours of baby-faced-Jay throw for 145 yards, twelve interceptions, and get sacked seventy eight times.) So they put half the TVs on the Browns’ game and the rest of the TVs were on other games. Not so at Joxer Daly’s. I walked in and instantly noticed that it was ALL Redskins fans. Cool. Went to get a beer and eerily noticed that all the TVs were on the same. damn. channel. Only playing Redskins games on NFL Sunday? Lame. Super lame. «Well, this is a Redskins bar.» Awesome, I’ll take my football lovin’ butt and my beer money elsewhere. Drove the three miles over to The Garage in Culver City and had a hell of a time there… watching more than one stupid game. I hope those fans enjoyed their 17 — 10 loss… to the Dolphins.

Solid sports bar with good food. Had the King Joxer burger and it was buttery and delicious. They split it on to 2 plates to share no problem. No table service but the bar service is fast and friendly.

I got introduced to this place through a friend who hangs out here a lot. We came here to watch the Women’s World Cup Final and it was bananas! It’s not a huge place so it can get filled up fast for popular events. I’ve been back several times since then, at various days and times and most of the time it’s pretty chill. I’ve even sung at one of their Wednesday karaōke nights – good times! Their draft beer selection is pretty basic so don’t expect anything too fancy. Same for the food – your basic pub grub. That said, the bartenders here are all awesome and friendly, and it’s just a good place to hang out with friends and/or watch some sports. STEPHJUDGEMENT: Great little neighborhood Irish-style pub/sports bar.

Came here with 6 or 7 friends to watch the first game of the Women’s World Cup and couldn’t have had a better experience. Called ahead: «YES we’ll play the game for you!» Got there — Not a lot of people, but not empty either. They pulled out the big screen, were SUPER friendly, beaming smiles, great prices on beer and snacks, just the right amount of letting us watch the game and coming by to let us know we were welcome anytime. Nice locals, but not so friendly they interrupted our game, which we were super into. They even got us a «Welcome to Joxer Daly’s» shot with other fans who were there watching the game. Great sports bar.

Not impressed with the food at all. I know, I know. You’re saying, «Dude, it’s pub food. What did you expect?!» Well, I don’t know what your local watering hole looks like, but I’ve had TONS of great pub food around these parts(lookin’ at you, Cock N’ Bull). Here, not so much. I ordered a cheeseburger with steak fries: The fries were bloated with grease, and when you bit into them, they were half-frozen and just plain nasty. The cheeseburger was fairly gross as well, i.e., flat, pre-made, frozen patty, unripe tomato, with a Wonder-Bread bun slathered with nasty American mayo. The clientele up in this joint isn’t exactly bloodsugarsexmagik, and the two bartenders working barely wanted to speak with me, let alone serve me. But the worst part, again, was the food. Now I LOVELOVELOVE me some Backstage(#GoHawks!) and heard the owner recently bought Joxer’s. But seeing as how the service, food and all-around fabulousness of Backstage(and Mom’s!) is a gajillion stars compared with Joxer’s, looks like the management’s got a long way to go before this pub even comes close.

Great place to watch soccer as that’s usually what’s on. They have TV’s everywhere and a large projected screen. They even have backup«chairs» that they make out of kegs if it’ gets too crowded. The good is also pretty good for a great price.

Love this spot! Omg why did I wait so long?! Best spot to go watch the KINGS games at:) Pool table is fun, set up works for live music which was really good on Friday night!!! They are so fun there, Hugh and Michelle are the bartenders and you could find two people like this who are this fun anywhere else! Parking sucks but small lot in the back or street parking which I always find something eventually… Owner is always there to make sure everyone is having a fun time! I highly recommend just cruising in for a bit you will thank me later!

What an awesome REDSKINS bar! Okay, Irish pub? I really enjoyed the atmosphere here at Joxer Daly’s. The people are friendly, the drinks are endless, and the food is tasty. I ordered the grilled chicken wings w/their house hot sauce. So BOMB! The Mister is an East coaster and wanted to cheer on his team along with a visiting friend. There is plenty of space, clean restrooms, and ample TV’s along the wall to watch your favorite teams play. Come on by, you won’t regret it!
