Honest food at an honest price. Great service run by a Dad and his daughter. I will be going back can’t wait to try another sandwich or perhaps some meatballs.

Went here today, because I was feeling a salad, something to help me cool off a bit due to this outrageous heat. I walked in and location is just a small pizza coop/parlor.clean. Cool customer service, but the food could be better. Pizza here is delicious, up to the crust, soft and just right, but the sub, not the best flavor, the Avocado Salad was bland, too much lettuce and there was only a tiny container of ranch. I wish they would add their own dressing. The avocados were hard, not ripe yet and the fries were way too salty, full of seasoning salt. We didn’t finish them, nor the sandwich or the salad, just the slice of pizza. So I went ahead and fed a homeless man with my leftovers… didn’t want it to go completely to waste… After all people are hungry out there… So. Definitely go for the pizza though. and they sell by the slice. Bathrooms are also clean… that’s a plus.

They recently raised their prices, be aware their website is out of date. Good food though

Nice clean neighborhood pizza and sub joint. Service was excellent. Food o.k. The pasta sauce needs something but the meatballs were tasty.

Not for the food, but for the service. Walked in Monday evening to grab a bite for dinner, and they were moderately busy. I waited around for 15 minutes for somebody to come take my order. I could see them working and making subs in the back, but nobody came to take my order, so I decided to go grab Flame Broilers next door instead. On my way out, I noticed that 80% of the people there were still waiting for their food. Glad I did not stick around.

Was charged $ 15 and change for 2 medium subs when their website said medium subs are $ 4.50 each. That’s what i get for looking at their website and ordering over the phone. Philly cheese steak said it came with mushrooms, grilled onions and bell peppers. I got raw onions, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, pickles and a weird sauce. Wtf? That is NOT a Philly. Boyfriend got the pastrami and cheese and wasn’t a fan. He got the pickles, tomatoes and lettuce too. Unfortunately, we both experienced almost immediate diarrhea. I’m already in the bathroom for round two. Will not be coming back… i don’t think my toilet can handle it.

SO, I’ve been wanting to come here for the past couple of years because, I hear it had great deals for local sammies. When I got here, I saw a new«Under New Management» Sign posted in the window and the Combo Deals Sign missing. When I asked about the Combos, the older Mexican Gentleman had graciously told me that they’re under New Ownership & Management, Humbly Welcomed Me, Wished me a Happy New Year, Told me that they No Longer Have Combos(about $ 5.70 for a 9″ Sammie, Chips & Drink) and that Everything on the Posted Menu is still the same price + PLUS $ 0.50. This place is known for Subs & Pizza as their name states. I wasn’t sure about their Salads or Pizza because nobody was ordering any or having either as I looked around since entering nor, was none being made at the moment. Various Apps were pretty vague on what to order from their Tips or people who left Tips, didn’t have a good rep for leaving Tips, from what I searched. I went with their 9″ Reuben Sandwich to be safe with a canned 7-Up & a bag of Baked Jalapeño Chips for about $ 8 and change Total. It Was Good! Not Great though, I know they’re probably not going Spend Resources to make a Great Marinade and Expensive Meat Source. I’m not one to Repeat Ordering The Same Entrée, Unless it’s «Life Changing» in Flavors though, I hate a «First & Last Experience» when trying new things and sometimes feel hesitant when ordering something new. It’s Definitely Not Bad! I will definitely be back Twice More, to try another Sandwich & Salad then, their Pizza afterwards. The Customer Service here is Stellar and there is Ample Parking in this nicer Strip Mall Parking Lot next to a Vons, Denny’s, a Chase Bank & Indian Restaurant. They could use some new table cloths but, the place is Very Clean and Inviting. My Food came out Really Fast and they have ESPN on. It has a Mom & Pop Restaurant Vibe here where one can Chill and Watch a Game while Enjoying a Beer and a Meal. There’s also a Coip-Op Oldschool Video Game in the corner and Craft Bottled Beers.

This place is quite misleading. Note that their hours posted here are not accurate. They close arbitrarily, but leave the front door wide open, leading you to believe they’re open. Not worth your time, skip it.

Tried pastrami sandwich and«Philadelphia» cheese steak. Pastrami very salty. Won’t try again. Cheese Steak: meat tasted like pieces of rubber. Lots of stringy onions. Overwhelmed the taste of sandwich. Asked for grilled mushrooms and onions only, but got soggy romaine lettuce, tomato and pickles as well. Bread was a bit burned. Didn’t finish the sandwich. I am willing to go back and try a different sandwich though on account of how cheap they are. I think low prices is how this place distinguishes itself from the nearby Subway or Ralph’s. $ 9.50 for 18 inch sandwich. Across the board.

Solid 3 stars. Food is good, but not mind-blowing(I had the meatball sub) Service is friendly enough, she(asian lady at the counter) took my order and answered my questions in shirt sentences Place is kinda run-down looking, beer was watery Sometimes places like this are hidden gems, sometimes you get exactly what you expect. A decent sized sub at a reasonable price, a cold beer, a TV playing sports. No single slice pizza after 4pm

Cheese Ravioli is amazing! Nice ambiance and delicious food. I got the Ravioli special and salad and garlic bread was good. Some guy came in here and ordered 5 pizzas and wanted to tip but the staff didn’t allowed it. Turns out the owner pockets the credit card tip instead of giving it to the staff. If you want to tip please bring cash !

Was looking for takeout after a long week at work and this was on my way home. Pizza and ravioli, what could go wrong? The food was mediocre at best. The definition of average. I was less hungry than if I didn’t eat so I suppose it hit the bare minimum threshold for acceptable food. But that wasn’t the worst part. They were very rude, like they viewed me as an annoyance and didn’t care what I thought. The price they charged me was $ 2 more than the price online. When I politely questioned the difference, the woman who worked there just pointed at a menu and walked away, scowling and looking at me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them. I don’t like writing negative reviews. I realize it can impact a small business. I can tolerate bad service if the food is good, especially take out. But being treated like the bad guy for giving them business… Next time I’ll pass.

The place doesn’t look that great with faded posters, formica tables, paper plates and blaring TV, but I have to admit, I like the food. The bread quality is excellent. The sub rolls are really good and it makes whatever kind of sub you get that much better. The pizza was good too, made fresh to order and better than any delivery place. FYI – I they charge a fee of 50cents for using a credit or debit card(no matter how much your order is), which i think is lame. When Joyce told me about the extra charge, I hesitated then asked why. She gave me a dirty look and said, «Well pay in cash then!» So much for service with a smile… :/If their merchant fees are so high, then Joyce should renegotiate her merchant fees or just do cash only. All in all, the place needs a makeover and Joyce’s attitude is hit or miss, but the prices are good and the bread is great.

Very average. Very, very, very average(if there is such a thing). Joyce’s is a local sandwich spot in the strip mall with Ralph’s & Denny’s. It’s the kind of place you walk by a hundred times. Needing a quick dinner, I decided to stop and check out Joyce’s Pizza and Submarine Sandwiches. A friendly lady behind the counter greeted me and was patient while I checked the Unilocal app for a recommendation. A 9″(regular) Philly Cheesesteak with everything for $ 6 fit my mood. It turned out to be ok though not really special. One piece of meat had gristle, but the rest was fine. More Cheese and more Onions/Peppers would of made it better. The interior is larger than you’d expect with several rows of formica tables and diner chairs. The TV was showing sports. One cool thing was an old school pinball machine by the window and a video game. It totally fit the atmosphere at Joyce’s. Average. Very average.
