La Perfumerie

I’m so disappointed in the service that I’ve received here. I purchased a product here and realized days later that it was extremely cheap quality. The guy had said «Ohhhh, you’re going to get so many compliments on this I guarantee! Bring it back if you don’t.» The item smelled great, but it only lasted on me for 30 minutes.
Also, I had bought 5 trial sized perfumes for about $ 2 each. I was pissed because as I was picking the the ones I wanted I noticed that some bottles were almost empty. The guy tried to pretend that he didn’t realize that he was selling me used items. I’m on it, because I’m paying full price for these items. Also, a couple of the trial sized items smelled old. Stale perfume is the WORST!
So I ended up coming back to return the big bottle I bought. The guy said that HE could ONLY do exchanges. But, he said if I call the manager who is there on weekends sometimes that may be able to give me a refund. I searched around the store to see if there was anything else I wanted before I went through the trouble of contacting the manager. Nope. So disappointed in the quality. I should’ve gone to a department store in the first place where u can never go wrong. OBVIOUSLY this La Perfumerie struggles to compete so they’re overpriced and DON’T provide a «Satisfaction Guaranteed» type of service.
Anyway, I contacted the manager and she said that there’s absolutely no way I could get a refund. No budging. Also, she basically told me that I was lying and that it’s not possible to have perfumes that were stale because they get new items every two weeks.
So now I’m stuck having to buy something else that I don’t want from this shitty store. Never again will I support this type of store. I hope they go out of business very soon.
