Our neighborhood association sometimes has our meetings here, and I also had the opportunity to tour this place on another occasion. A friend’s mother lived here until her passing. This is the only rest home I have ever been in that didn’t smell. It is run by Catholic nuns, and they are the epitome of sweet and caring. The place is immaculately clean, and the non-monastic staff are also loving and caring. There is a little chapel and they have mass regularly. You don’t have to be Catholic to be here, though. But you’ll probably feel most at home if you’re Christian of some sort, since Jesus is the primary focus. Lovely gardens and walking paths. It’s on top of a hill with a spectacular view of Los Angeles. Prices are about what you would expect for top rate care. From around $ 3500−5000/month.
