Sami is a gifted healer and a kind, gentle soul. He really has a way of making you feel at ease and comfortable during massage sessions, and like the other reviewers have said, he is very generous with his time. I am a professional singer, and I have been working with Sami to help free up my vocal instrument. Boy has he delivered so far! I’ve had two sessions with him and I am already noticing a tremendous difference in the ease of vocal function, as well as the flexibility of my ribcage and diaphragm(who knew that the diaphragm could be massaged??). I will be returning as much as I possibly can — He’s found himself another loyal customer! :)

First, let me say that I am not a massage person. I do yoga, not massages :) But that may change after the massage I had with Sami. He is a quiet, gentle person and put me at ease. He asked about what areas to target and then worked on those areas. At the end of the massage I had the same sense of wellness I have after doing yoga.

I moved to Downtown Los Angeles back in September of 2012. Before, when I lived in Monterey, CA, I had the best massage therapist(or so I thought). I really was learly about finding a new one that could really help me with my back issues. My problem is that I suffer from multiple sclerosis, so normal knots and tense muscles are different to me then many others. I really needed to find a therapist who got what I needed and was willing to find new and different ways to help ease the pain I feel on a day to day basis. After a few referrals and random picks I was about ready to give up my search. Thankfully, I found Sami at Massage for Professionals. Immediately I was impressed by everything. He was easy to get a hold of, very flexible and extremely nice, professional and welcoming. After my first appointment with him, I knew at once that I had found just what I needed to help ease the pain I felt from my MS. Not only did Sami really work on the problems areas of my back, shoulders and neck, but he sent me follow up emails. He wanted to make sure I felt okay, asked me to keep in touch with him in regards to my pain levels, sent me stretches to try to ease discomfort and was overall just very friendly and caring. Sami and Massage for Professionals is the BEST thing I have discovered since moving to LA and I still can’t imagine who I made it through the months without him before! Definitely try him out and you will not be disappointed!

I have been getting massages for at least 5 years and Sami is the best massage therapist that I have ever had the pleasure of working with! He is an expert with his hands and extremely knowledgeable about muscle soreness and specific techniques to get rid of longstanding muscle tension. He is generous with his time and makes sure he addresses all body parts that are hurt and need some healing work. He is also extremely professional and respectful. I am still getting massages from him and will continue to do so for as long as possible!

I have had several massages with Sami, and I am very impressed. He is a true healer and does much more than rub sore muscles. He works on improving your body. Long term improvement. He is really knowledgeable about many different massage styles and has multiple certifications. You feel better after 1 massage and ARE better after a few. I have had many massages, many styles. I work with bodies as a profession and I feel very confident recommending Sami to my clients.

Sami creates a tranquil environment sure to invoke a deep sense of calm. His professional and courteous demeanor allow for total relaxation. He uses a variety of techniques, each matched for the respective needs of each issue. The first massage of his was very pleasant and as we have continued to work together, he adapts to my changing needs. Presently, I feel he knows what I need better than I do at times. I highly recommend Sami Kally for your next massage treatment. And I recommend the deep tissue massage…

Sami is by far the best masseuse in LA, quite possibly in the world. I have to agree with every word of the reviews below — he has an amazing technique, can work out any knot with amazing finesse. Like the other clients I’ve had several massages in the past, and I’m picky because I have ticklish spots if you rub me the wrong way. Absolutely no problems with Sami! I can’t wait to go back!

Sami is seriously amazing!!! I get massages pretty regularly for years now and like to try different therapist and style of massages, and this is the first time I’ve tried Sami — one of the best I’ve ever had — I kid you not. I’ve tried massages in Taiwan, Thailand, China, Canada and all over the US and I get massages a couple times a month. I don’t usually allow a male therapist to work on me but it was my fault that I forgot to request a female one this time. I was very nicely surprised, Sami was very professional, very soothing and worked out a running injury on my inner leg, which I’ve had for about a year now. I wasn’t sufficiently warmed up and it cramped up my leg. Sami worked out of a hair salon in LA(that I would NOT recommend) but I would go to this hair salon for their massage therapist, Sami. Not cheap, but worth every penny. If you have a sport injury, or specific problem area that other therapists have failed to address — this is the place to go. If he wasn’t so far from where I live, I would go more often.

I had my massage with Sami at 11AM and I literally walked inside at 10:58(I’m not the greatest planner) expecting to be reprimanded for not arriving a little earlier but received a warm welcome. After I went over the questionaire with Sami over where I wanted to focus the massage I snuggled in under the blankets and closed my eyes. The music was soothing, not too low nor loud, and the place was super quiet. It was my first time with a male masseuse but my body was in such a need for a rubdown that I didn’t mind and I am so happy I didn’t say a peep. As soon as he put his magic hands on me I felt like a queen being pampered; my body responded like a bird’s song to a beautiful Spring morning, i.e. it was thrilled! Now I feel weird referring to myself in the third person but that massage had the power to make me chant in Latin if I wanted to. This is also the first time when a massage therapist actually listens to me when I ask them to focus on a certain area. Sami massaged my arms, my shoulders, back, head, legs and even my toes(wowza)! — and he still found time to concentrate on my lower back and my hamstrings. Every knot that had been carving out a little home for the last few months was dissolved under his creative pulling, cradling, and stroking. This is the start of a beautiful courtship — Sami marry me and I will be your slave as long as I am rubbed down like that daily. Forgive me if I am stretching the boundaries of proper etiquette that any self-respecting woman should have but if there were a catcall equivalent to express the way I feel about your hands than so be it I will be howling it out like a wolf looking for a mate. ;) Simmer down gals, do not be led to believe that this is a questionable establishment based on my adoring review but I will say that you will feel like tenderized meat ready to be thrown in the fire and you won’t utter a peep as long as Sami keeps rubbing. When the hour(which felt at least 50% longer) was over I had to open my eyes and walk out with a sheepish grin on my face after all the oohing and aahing that I had just made for the entire duration of our session, i.e. read date in my eyes. Oh Life is Good in L.A.
