Mike is a great realtor. He is very experienced and easy to work with. I would say my wife and I can be difficult buyers to work with, we were very particular about our needs. Mike was accommodating and visited a lot of properties with us. He also had a sense of what we could afford and was very consultative in talking us out of properties that would have been a stretch. We were hoping to find a 4br single family in the westside or southbay with a yard, but that was clearly challenging with our budget. We ended up finding a beautiful home in Woodland Hills which we absolutely love. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play! The home needed a new roof and Mike was able to work with the seller to get the roof paid for as part of the transaction.
Mike also sold our condo for us, which was a very easy process. Got over asking and were on the market less than one week:)

The first words that come to mind when thinking about Mike: Consummate professional, punctual, available, and for purposes of this review the most important… excellent realtor. My wife and I (3^rd grade school teacher + lawyer), recently married and FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS, approached Mike through a referral. Within the hour, Mike responded and immediately had such helpful feedback to guide us in the process of finding our first home.
After following Mike’s advice, and taking care of our end (because we had time constraints), we met with Mike the following week. He already came with listings in mind, and a plan to feel out what were must-​haves, wants and wishes. We even went and saw four listings that day! He was patient, listened and adjusted based on our feedback.
Mike helped us find our dream house. But the process does not end there, that is merely the beginning. He tactfully gave feedback and guidance in the process of arriving at a purchase price which was NOT ONLY WELL WITHIN BUDGET BUT ALSO UNDER LIST PRICE! He went out of his way to make himself available during escrow, and made sure that we took care of our contingencies in a prompt manner.

Mike Berlin is absolutely the best real estate agent in Culver City and on the west side. He is dedicated, super knowledgeable, and most importantly he is well connected. Any listing you see out there, he will probably know the agent and can get you in to view the property first before any other buyer.
