Minimale Animale

Love this store and company. The bikinis were a little tricky when trying to figure out that works and what doesn’t. I’m 5’8″ 140lbs and curvy, medium is definitely my size so I can order online even sale (not returnable). Everyone that works there is super nice and when you email they respond back quickly within the same day. Prices are a little steep but they fit well and are unique so I’m paying for that. Thanks!

Unlike the opinion in a prior review, I appreciated not being stalked by staff while shopping in the small boutique shop. I actually said to my husband, who patiently waited as I tried on multiple items, «I love that the sales woman didn’t stand over me or pressure me to buy any items.» When I needed something, she got it. Her name is Paige. The items are pricey, but certainly unique and I love the new swimwear I purchased!
Update! Went into the sample sale today and Paige remembered me from about a month before and that I had taken a trip to Ibiza! Super sweet woman. All of the staff was kind. Will definitely be back!

After moving to New York, I was hoping to stop by the Minimale Animale store during my next visit to California. I was finally able to pop in today and I had a great experience! The store is a great reflection of the minimal aesthetic of the bikinis and gives a hip/​cool vibe. I really appreciated the associate’s help/​suggestions. Would definitely recommend the boutique/​brand to anyone searching for minimal coverage/​simple swimwear.

I was hesitant BC of the previous review but saw their suits online and gave it a shot anyway. Cassandra the owner and lisa both were very attentive while I was trying on different suits. They even gave suggestions for my body type. The dressing rooms are more modern but there is definitely privacy. Over all great experience! I walked out with the bandit bottoms I came in for!

i was super excited buy bikini from minimale animale, they looked super cute on photos.
so i decided to check them out one day.
owwwww. they are kinda weird, slutty, expensive as hell
300 $ for a bikini? i was gonna buy them but they just didnt fit well, i looked like i just walked out from a strip club
another thing in this store are changing rooms or should i say walls?
so when i was trying bikini, i could see a naked lady trying her bikini right next to me as there is no curtain or door or anything!
damn! who designed your store girls???
last but not least, this asian lady that works there, was the whole time in the back and only came when i called her, then again i wanted to try another bikini she was gone, what the hell? horrible customer service
