I have been here three times and would be here more if I were local and they were open on the weekends. Mama Lee is so sweet and friendly in a playfully sarcastic fashion that you would not expect. Food is tasty, fresh, and priced reasonably. I was a bit hesitant when I first saw the place because most places that have such variety do not excel in any particular area. It was also oddly in the middle of a business area, however this worked out for me since I have class in the same lot. I forgot what I got the first time around, but it was good enough to make me trust everything they had on the menu. The second time I ordered a sandwich and the kimchi fried rice. Both absolutely Amazing and I felt like I got more than my money’s worth for both. This time around, I got the bfast burrito which is still tasty, fresh, and less greasy than others I’ve had. Although, it was not quite the value that I had hoped for. Bit thin on the egg, lots of potato, and speckles of sausage. I enjoyed it, but will likely try something else next time. I enjoy supporting small businesses that have delicious food, are reasonably priced, and most importantly, have great customer service. Coming back any chance I get

Has the appearance of a mini-Matt wth some sit down tables inside, but overall cheap, pretty darn good food and very kind staff. Everyone walking in seemed to know the staff and the lady who runs if «Mama Lee» definitely takes care of you! Great place to grab breakfast before your flight-I will be coming back!

Tried Mama Lee’s KBBQ Burger & it was amazing! I’m pretty picky when it comes to kbbq meat because I eat a lot at ktown but the beef was flavorful & cooked well(not dry). Will definitely order this again & come back!

While it’s invisibly tucked into a nondescript corporate park, it’s worth seeking out if you’re in the mood for A) legit bulgogi, tucked into a hamburger bun, or served alongside rice and kimchi B) conversation with the sweet Korean relative you never had. Having spent a week in the area, I can safely say the area is a desert for interesting dining options. So all the more reason to stop in. If you’re working in the area, give this spot a shot.

This is a place where you can find everything to eat and won’t cost you too much for great tasting food. I have ate here over 4 years now on my lunch break since its steps from my current job. Mama Lee and Mando are great ppl they are friendly, pleasant plus they know how I like my orders when I call them haha. My favorites here are the Teriyaki chicken which comes with rice and salad which is delicious eat that once a week atleast. Turkey and Cheese burgers are tasty plus those fries man I love those fries something about them me and my coworker love those. I recommended this place for anyone that is in the area and needs something fast and great tasting for a good price.

Mama Lee’s BBQ Beef Burger was out of this world! It’s very telling that something as simple as a burger with asian-spiced beef on it and other regular burger condiments can be so tasty. This place is hidden in an office park right by where I work. My coworker and I walked over yesterday, and were pleasantly surprised. He has worked less than 1000 feet from this place for 5 years and didn’t know it was here! The food is lovingly prepared by Mama Lee and her kitchen assistant, and every order was fresh. We both waited a bit long for our burgers and fries, but the fries themselves had clearly come right out of the fryer… delicious. This place is a greasy spoon in a commercial building. BONUS: My coworker brought back extra napkins we didn’t use, and Mama Lee gave us Laffy Taffy candy as a reward! Definitely coming back.

So I work walking distance from here and never even knew it existed until one of my co-workers told me about it even though I’ve driven/walked past the location many times. I have to agree with Sofia and Crystal that Mama the owner is one of the nicest people ever, BUT disagree on the food and prices. As I’m typing this I’m eating a huge Western omelet(probably about 4 eggs) which came with a hash brown(kind of like the Mcdonald’s one) and 2 slices of buttered toast(cut into triangle halves of course). The food is all good quality and the whole thing was just 5 bucks including tax. I haven’t tried any of the lunch food so I’ll hold my judgement on that, but I’m really glad I have a new breakfast place to go to that’s nearby. I’m actually kind of sad I didn’t discover this place earlier but I will definitely be coming back. Even if I didn’t work as close by I still think it would be worth it to come here for the omelettes. On another note, you can also call in your takeout order 310−645−8631 and they’ll have your food ready for you to pick up. They also accept credit card(no AMEX though), but there’s a 10.00 minimum otherwise they charge you an extra dollar.

OK, I have to somewhat agree with the two other postings, it’s not the best food in LA, but you cannot find a nicer couple of people than Mama Lee and Mando. I’ve been working next door to them for 10 years, and I’m pretty sure I am the first person to call her«Mama Lee» — and it stuck! I do have to say that their croissant breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito and burger and fries are AWESOME! And they are pretty cheap, not sure why Crystal thinks they are so expensive. This restaurant holds a very special place in my heart, especially since Mama Lee knits hats and scarves and purses for my 5 year old daughter!

I agree w/Sofia M. I worked right across the street from the Patio Café and this is a place where you go to because you’ve got no car that day or too busy to leave the office as it’s very pricey. Mama Lee is gonna make that money honey and us fools are gonna pay when we’re hungry. Although the high fat comes w/a place that serves burgers there are soups and salads and stuff. Everything is VERY high price. For $ 2.00, you get a HUGE brown paper bag of the hottest crunchiest french fries ever. My coworkers would put in 50 cents each and split a bag. I miss mama lee and Mando. They are very friendly… And oh, CASHONLY!!!

I used to eat at this place when I worked in the small plaza. Mama Lee was always friendly and had the best heart in the world. The food was just okay but her friendly smile and good heart always kept me going to this place. I haven’t been here in years since I do not work in that area any more. I hope she is doing okay thinking maybe I should swing by sometime.

Eat at your own risk! Aw, Patio Café holds a special place in my heart because it’s pretty much the only thing within walking distance from my old office. Mama Lee(the owner) and Mando(the ONE worker/cook/cashier/busboy) are super duper sweet and have the best intentions in the world. Unfortunately their food kinda sucks, is HIGH in fat and a lot of their packaged items have expired. With all that aside, it’s the best(meaning only) place for a mid afternoon snack. Mama Lee is a sweetheart and will give you free candy randomly and ask you about your day and anything else she can pick up on. You can call your order in and pick it up when you are ready. I don’t go there anymore because we moved offices and I am about a block away. I’ve never craved anything from there so I haven’t gone back. But I do miss saying hello to them, and promising that I won’t work too hard today :)
