Pauline Books and Media Culver City

I LOVE Pauline! I’m Episcopalian, not Catholic, but this store has something for every Christian. The Sisters and other employees are wonderful and very helpful. There is also a nice little chapel in the back of the store if you want to take some time out of your busy day to spend in prayer or meditation. You would never know how peaceful this place is from the front of the building; it looks more like a small publishing house («Books and Media») than a religious bookstore and gift shop. A true hidden gem.

I’ve been buying books and religious goods here at Pauline Books and Media in Culver City for years. The Sisters are truly a neighborhood blessing as I can never leave feeling anything less than blessed. The selection is excellent and perfect for both the adults and children in our family. Their selection of children’s books and goods is exactly what I was looking for. Kudos to the Pauline Sisters!

My favorite religious bookstore. It’s run by nuns which is an experience in and of itself. I have used this bookstore mostly as a resource for purchasing fine pendants with the saints on them.

This bookstore is fabulous. Not only does it have resources for all things Catholic, but the Pauline Sisters are wonderful people who bring joy to their work and graciousness to their customers. The store also has a lovely chapel. It is one of my favorite places in LA. Peaceful, tranquil, joy-​filled.

The salespeople here are just so sweet and helpful. They truly have a sparkle in their eye and look as if they enjoy their job.
I was looking for a particular book on Theology of the Body, and she walked me to the shelf where it was. She talked about her day, and made other little comments here and there. She was just so sweet and kind.
This is definitley my top choice for a a catholic bookstore. It also helps that they have an online store.

The nuns & the staff are always glad to see my dad & I. They always play catholic music, have a nice chapel, & they always have bottles for me.

This Catholic bookstore is staffed by nuns called the Daughters of St. Paul. The nuns live and work here are are helped by employees and volunteers.
During the year they have many free events like movie nights for adults and movies on Saturday afternoons for kids. Movies like «The Vow», «Holes», etc. are shown and a discussion is held afterwards with a Sister.
They also have drvies for donations for local shelters, special masses or services in their chapel, Adoration (Holy Hour) and discernment retreats.
They have lovely Chirstmas and Advent merchandise that sells fast, as well as First Communion and Baptism gifts.
This is agreat store for Catholics as well as non-​Catholics who want to learn more about the faith as they have books ranging from children’s Bible stories, to Theology.
The children’s book section has a little play area and there is an outside patio if you would like to enjoy some fresh air while reading your newly purchased book.
